Imam Jafar as-Sadiq (a.s.) said : "When Allah desires goodness in a person, He instills in his heart love of Imam Husain (a.s.) and his ziarat (visiting of his grave)."

2. And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead
And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Nay they are living though ye perceive (it) not.
(Qur'an 19:154)

3. The Martyrdom of Imam Husayn (as) and his companions,  foretold in the Old Testament,  for no other sacrifice has ever been made on the banks of the Euphrates until the sacrifice in Kerbala.

4. Imam Hussein (a.s.) message to the Ummah:
"Indeed, I do not see death (for freedom) as but happiness, and living with unjust people as nothing but grief.”

5. Husayn ibne Ali, the King of Martyrs:
The divinely promised and prophesised Martyr of the Zibhe Azeem (The Great Sacrifice) in the seed of Abraham through his son Ishmael, in the lineage of Ishmael through Muhammad the Last Apostle of God, Ali the Ameerul Momineen, the First of the Holy Imams and Lady Fatima, the Lady of light.

6. "I am not rising as an insolent or arrogant person, or a mischief monger or tyrant. I've risen as I seek to reform the Ummah of my grandfather. I wish to bid the good and forbid the evil." ...

The zaair (pilgrim) of Imam Husain (A.S.) turns back (from his pilgrimage) such that not a single sin remains upon him.
