3 PON KNIFE INSTTALLATION ON THE PRINT REFERENCE
To do the perforation in the printing machine, the reference should be closed in a frame. The perforate reference can be made with perforation line in square or in curve shape. The perforation line can be measured with augustijn (read: Agustien) ruler. Teknologi dan Rekayasa

4 Real line installation for folding
A sharp and neat fold will be achieved by drawing a curve / real line first in the various cardboard that difficult to be fold normally Teknologi dan Rekayasa

5 EMBOSS CLICHÉ MAKING TO MAKE THE SHAPE CHIP
Print reference for this print work consist of two 16 to 18mm steel or brass plate. Or can be as high as the letter (Netherland letter usually has 66,047 point = ± 2,476cm). Its called emboss or relief print since its produce a raised print surface result. It also called blind print, because it doesn’t use an ink roll and ink Teknologi dan Rekayasa

6 Female strereotype Print paper Male strereotype The upper mold (female) has an inside dent and made from wood board. The board has a drawing picture on it, then the picture was curved inside before to make the upper mold Teknologi dan Rekayasa

7 Prepare the other mold side (male mold)
By doing a surface finishing by improving the carving that smoothen the surface, that makes the female mold (the stamp) ready to use. Prepare the other mold side (male mold) Bind the adhesive that consist of a little sum of water in the ± ½ mm cardboard. The cardboard size is a little bit bigger than the stamp Teknologi dan Rekayasa

8 Make a pulp solution by adding a lime stone (gypsum) and arabic gom solution into the mixer
Then close all of the material with ultra paper and cover the surface with oil to prevent the pulp to stick on the stamp Close the upper (female) mold to the frame and pressed exactly on the pulp with gradually increasing pressure print (from light to heavy pressure) Teknologi dan Rekayasa

9 ETIQUETTE AND LABEL Etiquette
Etiquette is a printed sheet preferably in terms of promotion, advertisement, or introduction to a business printed material that always related to packing/wrapping process. Etiquette can also used as a product seal, that is when its damaged or torn, that means the product has been opened previously. Teknologi dan Rekayasa

10 Label A label can be called as a hanging card, commonly used in the warehouse, a company, or in a housing It used as an identity that bind to a product when shipping. It contain the product sender and receiver information Teknologi dan Rekayasa

11 FOLDING BOX AND STROBORD
A folding box is a box that made from a cardboard or strobord box, consist of a same material but cut in strip size and stacked according to the box dimension The main part of making the box is the way to fold it. It can be done by hand (manual) or using a machine. Iron ruler and knife can be used to make the folding line Teknologi dan Rekayasa

15 PACKING PRINTED PRODUCT
Packing sheet printed product On few sheet printed product, it can be wrapped by using a waterproof casing paper with 100 to 210 gram paper weight. Teknologi dan Rekayasa

16 Plastic or casing packing steps
Prepare the casing/paper pack according to the product size Adjust and neaten the printed product that wanted to be packed Place the paper case on the working table Put the printed product that already neaten in the middle of the paper case Teknologi dan Rekayasa

17 Put a glue on the edge of the paper case
Stick the paper case edge each other until its neat Fold the right and left paper case edge, and its done three times each. Teknologi dan Rekayasa

18 Then do the folding steps as doing the wrapping or packing process

19 Books product packaging
In a few book shaped product, packaging can be done by using the paper package sheet. Pack the product using a thin plastic to prevent watery or humidity damage before packaging. If there are a lot of book shaped product, pack the product using a box/cardboard box Teknologi dan Rekayasa

20 SIGNING THE PACKAGE Once the packaging is finished, the next job is to give the package an identity or a label on its surface. If the label is an empty label, we can manually fill the package information. The label normally identify its content, quantity, the product sender and recipient. Teknologi dan Rekayasa

21 STRAP THE PACKAGE WITH RAFFIA
Short raffia edge strap When a package is carried with a raffia strap, the strap will be easily loosen if there isn’t a short strap on its edge Teknologi dan Rekayasa

Four direction Intersecting strap Strapping a raffia in a four intersecting direction of the package Teknologi dan Rekayasa

23 STRAP THE PACKAGE WITH RAFFIA
Three or five direction Intersecting strap Benefit: The straps wont loose easily Reduce or prevent hurts/injury on hand Lighten the weight when carrying Teknologi dan Rekayasa

24 STRAP THE PACKAGE WITH RAFFIA
In the raffia strap twist should be given a thick cloth or folded paper as a cushioning. The other way to make this is making more strap on the handle part Teknologi dan Rekayasa

25 STORE THE PACKAGE When the product has been package well and not distributed yet, it should be stored in a storehouse. When storing, keep the safety of the product to prevent damage from animal or even human. Teknologi dan Rekayasa
