This is information about: financial aid; the school’s campus, facilities, student athletes, and gainful employment programs; as well as campus security and fire safety, drug and alcohol abuse prevention, and programs about them.

Unfortunately, there is not one common date. Most requirements have a different timeline.
Some may require a specific date while others will be a notification to a certain group of students prior to an event, such as enrollment.

How do you do keep up with Consumer Information and make sure to remain in compliance?
Although Financial Aid is ultimately responsible for Consumer Information, it is a multi-department effort.
Designate a person in your office to review the Consumer Information at a Glance document to compile a university or college specific list.
Determine how you want to display or guide the list of requirements
Do you want to put it on your school website?
Who controls the school website?
Can you link to various pages within the school website?
Who will manage a web page if built?
Do you have a designated address for compliance related questions or required statements?

Organize a meeting either as a group or with individual departments to discuss the information needed and how it will be presented.

Once the website or your determined best practice for your school, make sure that compliance designee reviews the information periodically for updates or possible broken links.
