4. Morning Procedures ocedures
Doors open at 7:25PM. Students enter school through the first set of double doors.
Those who choose to eat breakfast, will report to the cafeteria. Café 7:55AM
All others will enter the gym.
Students will sit quietly in a designated area.
They will be released to 7:40AM.
The tardy bell rings at 8:00AM.

5. Morning Car Riders
Please drive safely to the back of EBW and pull forward fully to allow other cars to drop off at the same time.
Have children get out on the curb side of the car.
Do Not Ever Pass Other Vehicles
If you plan to come inside, please park your car in the front parking lot.

6. Afternoon Bus Riders
Students are dismissed from class when their bus wave arrives. Students will wait in a designated area and be ready to load together as a group.
Any transportation changes must be requested in writing (handwritten notes to teacher, s to secretary, or fax) with all necessary information by 2PM.

7. Afternoon Car Pickup
Drive safely to the back of the building, pull up in a single line, and remain in your car. Make sure to have your CarRiderPro tag visibly hanging in your car.
Students who are car riders will report to the gym, wait quietly for their CarRiderPro # to post on screen, line up near our gym exit, and be escorted to their vehicle by a staff member.
Please remain parked until your line is dismissed (Again: DO NOT PASS OTHER VEHICLES).
Please fill the lane in the upper lot first. Overflow will be directed to the lane in our lower lot.
If you choose to come in to pick up your child, please park in upper or lower lots, whichever is available.

8. Helpful Hints for Afternoon Pickup
Approximately twelve cars will be loaded at a time.
Please pull up to the end of the sidewalk to allow cars into the pick up circle.
Remain in your vehicle to keep the flow of traffic moving.
Students will not be dismissed outside.
Be prepared for delays
Follow the directions of the EBW staff to ensure safety for all.
NEW CAR TAGS CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE TABLE OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE.

9. Breakfast & Lunch
Family members are welcome to eat breakfast and lunch with their children.
For safety reasons, all visitors MUST sign in/out at the office. Please use the main office entrance/exit only. This includes joining your child for a meal.
Please do not bring fast food nor soft drinks into the cafeteria.
You may send lunch money daily or add to student accounts.

10. Attendance Any sign-in/out is classified as a TARDY
Traffic, trains, or missed buses are unexcused tardies.
Please call and/or send a note if your child will be absent for the day. Students have three days following the absence to turn in a medical or parent note.
All students must be in their classrooms at 8:00AM.
Anyone picking up a child must have a picture ID and be on the approved list.

14. Parent Connection Night
When: Tentatively Tuesday, August 22nd
Why: Technology is continuously evolving and many are being left behind.
Where: EBW Cafeteria
What: Display/teach parents, grandparents, other guardians how to use the apps and/or devices our students are using. Education provided on dangers in apps/online bullying.

Volunteer Training
Anyone interested in volunteering in the classroom is
required to attend volunteer training and to submit a
background check that is sponsored by ACE.

16. Supporting EBW
Participating in Fundraisers (Pie Orders, Popcorn, etc.).
Submitting Box Tops, Tyson Chicken Labels, Campbell’s Soup Labels.
Giving credit to EBW when shopping at various retailers.
Kroger Community Rewards—PLEASE see signup table this evening outside of the office area

17. Daycare & Bus Information
Daycare forms will be available in the office.
A staff member will be available to assist you with transportation questions immediately following this presentation.

18. 1st Day Survivor Tips
Discuss with your child how he/she will get home.
All medication must be turned into the office and a form must be completed to administer.
Please complete information packets and return to school as soon as possible.

19. Reminders
A word from our amazing School Nurse(s)/Healthy Kids Clinic...
On the first day, feel free to walk your student to class, however please say goodbye at the classroom door and promptly leave your child in good hands with us. Prolonged departures often cause more tears than necessary.
We, at EBW, pledge to care for, teach, and grow every child to the highest degree possible.
Thank you for trusting and supporting us as we help students set and achieve their educational goals.
