2 Africa Africa is a continent comprising 56 countries. Sahara Desert is one of the marks in Africa, and running along the south of dessert is the plains region, which is als o one of the marks in Africa. On the vast plain, various wild animals are very famous all over the world. Now, let’s have a visit to this wonderful place.

16 Sahara Desert The Sahara Desert covers 3,500,000 miles. It is the largest desert in the world. The name Sahara comes from the Arabic word for desert. Areas in the central Sahara sometimes get no rain for years at a time.

18 The Nile river has been providing life to the vast Nile basin for hundreds of thousands of years. It is a great river which deserves our deepest respect. The Nile River is the longest river in the world. From its major source, Lake Victoria, the White Nile flows generally north into Sudan where it meets the Blue Nile. From the confluence of the White and Blue Nile, the river continues to flow northwards into Egypt and on to the Mediterranean Sea. Lake Victoria
