1 L14 - Speed Integration with Ethernet-enabled CENTERLINE® MCCs, Rockwell Software Studio 5000® and IntelliCENTER® Software

2 IntelliCENTER® Technology
Overview Rockwell Automation’s intelligent MCC offering provides: Built-In EtherNet/IP network Ethernet switch quantity and port capacity is customized to meet specific node densities across your MCC Multiple Ethernet connection and cable routing options provide additional network flexibility Exclusive Allen-Bradley UL-listed, PLTC rated 600V Ethernet cabling Intelligent Motor Control connectivity IntelliCENTER Software customized to your MCC Leverage IntelliCENTER® to enable and strengthen enterprise solutions

3 IntelliCENTER® Technology
Intelligent Motor Control - Overview Access intelligent devices across the factory-installed MCC EtherNet/IP network PowerFlex drives SMC Flex soft starters Starters and Overload Relays Point I/O Simultaneous real-time control, configuration and data acquisition The Intelligent Motor control devices installed within your IntelliCENTER MCC including E300 overload relays, PowerFlex drives, and SMC soft starters are all providing data and information across the EtherNet/IP network. This allows your control, visualization and information platforms to all access this information across a common infrastructure.

4 IntelliCENTER® Technology
IntelliCENTER® Software - Overview System Level Dashboard Component Monitoring & Diagnostics Virtual view of the MCC Simple dashboard presentation Customer configurable Exclusive functionality for MCCs Parameter editor Device monitoring Remote diagnostic support Support for all IMC devices in the MCC Trending and event logging

5 IntelliCENTER® Technology
IntelliCENTER® Software - Overview HMI support Asset Management ActiveX and IMC faceplates provided Enables simple integration with On-Machine™ HMIs Key customer documentation User manuals Customized wire diagrams Spare parts lists Another benefit of IntelliCENTER software is providing a virtual library of the MCC and unit specific documentation that comes with the MCC. Often times when an MCC is delivered onsite, the documentation can get misplaced. This allows you the maintain all the drawings, manuals, and spare parts lists for your MCC which can be seen on the right. This information is preloaded by Rockwell Automation and is included in the DataCD for the IntelliCENTER MCC. Also, documents that are important for your specific application can also be added to the drawings, manuals and spare parts lists. IntelliCENTER software also supports the use of ActiveX objects to incorporate the Elevation view, monitor view, and more to an HMI that runs a 32-bit or greater operation system. This allows for simple integration of the MCC faceplates to an new or existing HMI application. Some other features that will be demonstrated in this lab include the Integration Assistant for both Logix 5000 and FactorTalk EnergyMetrix. The Logix 5000 Integration Assistant allows you to step through a wizard to add all your intelligent devices within your MCC to the I/O tree of an ACD file that you choose. This reduces the amount of time required to commission your MCC and integrate it into a Logix environment. The FactoryTalk EnergyMetrix Integration Assistant creates and adds the intelligent devices installed within your MCC to the FactoryTalk EnergyMetrix database to allow you to monitor the energy usage of the intelligent MCC devices. Please note that FactoryTalk EnergyMetrix is available as a purchased add on to IntelliCENTER called IntelliCENTER Energy.

7 EtherNet/IP IntelliCENTER® MCC Storyboard
How to Access IntelliCENTER® Technology leverages an integrated EtherNet/IP Network, Intelligent Motor Control devices, and pre-configured IntelliCENTER Software to enhance the performance of the CENTERLINE® MCC An interactive EtherNet/IP IntelliCENTER MCC Storyboard was created to demonstrate these benefits and will be presented in this session A web-based version of the EtherNet/IP IntelliCENTER MCC Storyboard can be accessed from the CENTERLINE 2100 or CENTERLINE IntelliCENTER pages on AB.com Direct web-link can be found here Runs on PCs, phones, tablets, etc.

8 The lab Learn how to use Integration Assistant
Become familiar with the various views Elevation and Monitor View Learn how to access order specific documentation How to add additional documents New Stratix Monitor View How to troubleshoot devices remotely
