2. Science Fair Log Book
Your log book is your “diary” or “blog” about your project.
It serves as a place to record your research, ideas, procedures, and data
It also verifies that it is your work
The log book for your project will be hand written and will be displayed with your project.
You will start your log book once you and your teacher have decided on a topic/question.

4. Research and Bibliography
You will want to do some background research to make a good hypothesis.
Find some key words that relate to your topic-look those words up to start your research-ask an adult to help you come up with topics to research related to your project
Record your research in your log book
For each source, record the information that you will need for your bibliography-you will use this information to create your bibliography in noodle tools.
*Each source and notes should be on their own page in your log book

Sealed, transparent windows in the car allow for “greenhouse effect”
Blocking of light will prevent as much heating of the air in the car
There are many forms of light including visible light, ultraviolet light and infrared light
Carbon dioxide in our atmosphere contributes to the greenhouse effect in our atmosphere

A car sitting in a parking lot all day can reach temperatures well over 100 degrees F
Venting by leaving the windows slightly open will help reduce the temperature inside the car
Ultraviolet waves will damage the fabric and dashboard over time

What I learned:
Temperature is a measure of the amount of heat energy possessed by an object.
Galileo developed the first instrument to measure temperature; it was refined and calibrated by later scientists.
The Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin scales are three different systems for measuring heat energy (temperature) based on different references.
