4. Filter Systems Field Application One:
OFS Filtration Station is being used to clean the hydraulic oil used in the booms on utility trucks and the moving parts of construction vehicles. A combination of water and dirt removal elements ensures clean, dry fluids. The customer no longer needs to worry about equipment breakdowns caused by water in the oil freezing during the cold weather or dirt contamination affecting the hydraulic movements.

5. Filter Systems Field Application Two:
Problem:
Rail yards needed a way to clean-up and condition the hydraulic oil in the rail yard equipment as the equipment was often in remote locations.
Solution:
OFS Filtration Station is being used in the service of the rail maintenance equipment. The semi-pneumatic tires on the unit along with the rugged frame design allow for the unit to be easily transported over the rails and through the dirt and stones of rail yard.

Problem:
Customer needed a way to ensure Roll-off Cleanliness Specifications were met.
Solution:
OFS Filtration Station is being used to clean the oil used in the lawn tractor in a roll-off cleanliness program. At the factory, the customer is using the Filtration Station to clean up the fluid prior to shipping the unit.

7. Asset Management-What is it?
Predictive maintenance is using measurements and monitoring tools with your equipment or assets to “predict” when maintenance needs to be performed.

The Asset Management Filtration Station provides Visibility and traceability of data previously unavailable or unmanaged making true predictive maintenance a reality
The alternative to predictive maintenance commonly used is preventative maintenance, which is the periodic shut down of equipment to perform maintenance, whether it needs maintenance or not. Equipment taken out of service before it is needed results in lost productivity and a longer return on investment (ROI) for that machinery. Waiting for equipment to fail before performing maintenance is even more costly.
The Downtime caused by Hydraulic or Lubrication failures can costs thousands of $$ per minute / hour / week in lost operating revenue.
