Group of individuals offered the choice of Community Supportive Living have diverse needs for support, ranging from relatively little to extensive and complex. This mix was important in order to learn what was possible in terms of cost and in learning if there are any limitations on who might be offered this option in the future. Daily rates range from $3/day to over $200/day as demonstrated in chart.

The chart shows 98 members currently living in Supportive Living cost $61.54/day. The same individuals living in a residential setting of 1-8 beds with sleep staff would cost on average $77.03/day. CCCW would have spent 25.2% more ($554,077 annually) on the same individuals. The same individuals living in a residential setting 1-8 bed with awake staff would cost on average $107.03/day. CCCW would have spent 73.9% more (1.6 million annually) on the same individuals.

Ability Beyond Clapboard Program: For every $1 spent in year 1 of using technology they saved $3.99. For every $1 spent after year 1 they are saving $11.23.
UCP of NYC: Prior to using SimplyHome technology, staff at one location were needed 24/7.
Today, staff is needed 21 hours per week, saving them at least $3,000 per month.
Wildwood Programs has seen $39,000 savings per person. Annually, that is $500,000 savings for 16 individuals.
