1 Pre ACT Score reports Class of 2019

2 What Do My Scores Mean? Your scores are between 1 (the lowest score you can receive) and 35 (the highest score you can receive). PreACT takes the number of questions you got right on each test and translates it into a number between 1 and 35.Just like grades, your scores tell you how well you did on each test. Your Composite score is simply the average of your test scores in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science (rounded to a whole number). No test can accurately measure your educational development.

3 Your pre act score range
The Pre ACT scores are used to predict how you are likely to do if you take the ACT next year. Improving your study habits and taking more challenging courses may improve your predicted ACT scores. This score range is only an estimate, not a guarantee. Keep working hard and keep studying.

4 Your predicted act score range
The PREACT is designed for 10th graders and the ACT is designed for 11th and 12th graders. Over time, PLAN and the ACT measure your college readiness skills as you progress through high school. Your scores can be used to predict how you are likely to do if you take the ACT as an 11th or 12th grader and keep working hard. The predicted ACT Composite score range is a prediction about how you are likely to score on the ACT if you take the right courses and work hard in those courses. Keep in mind that these scores are only estimates, not guarantees. Improving your study habits and taking more challenging courses are likely to improve your ACT scores.

6 Your Career Possibilities
It's not too soon to begin exploring possible careers! Your PREACT Score Report helps you start by focusing on a few career areas. Exploring careers is easier if you have a good map. Launch the World-of-Work Map at right to begin exploring careers and occupations that might be right for you.

7 How Can I Improve? The back of your Score Report describes the skills and knowledge you already probably have. You'll also see some ideas for improving even more in the different subject areas. The suggestions are based on your scores and can help you do better. You will definitely want to discuss these ideas with your counselors, teachers, and parents so that you can work together to get the most from your courses and be "college ready."

National Organization of People Everywhere PSAT/NMSQT at BHS on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 ACT and/or SAT Spring 2018 National Organization of People Everywhere or N.O.P.E. Students often receive letters from the National Leadership/Nursing/etc Conference asking them to pay $1000s to attend. We are letting the students know that they do not need to attend and that this has no impact on college admissions.
