Community Informational Meetings for the purpose of open enrollment

All in attendance took home enrollment packets.
Extending Open Enrollment Hours
Students can enroll at SMCC Monday-Friday from 8AM-4PM
Staff assigned to continuous outreach to potential students
Staff is averaging 50 incoming/outgoing phone calls per day
Enrollment packets are being delivered to students with transportation barriers.

Since strategic canvasing and increased community awareness:

Increased the amount of enrollment packets distributed
Increased the amount of walk-in enrollments
Upcoming Enrollment Projections:
Open enrollments will continue throughout the school year
After first progress reports are sent home at surrounding high schools many students might explore options
Campus tours and open house events will attract potential students
Current students will refer friends once they share their positive experiences at Hope
Based on past MCRSD enrollment stats we know that the height of enrollments occur in September.
