Digital access to: Women in the National Archives (UK), Encyclopedia of Social Work, JAMA Evidence, Academic Video Online Premium, Independent Voices, PrivCo, Data-Planet Statistical Datasets, and Sports Business Research Network.
This is all only in the last year. We have many other databases and research materials available.
Elsevier: more than 32,000 full-text article downloads in the first six months of usage
AVON provides access to over 50,000 videos from reputable producers such as BBC and PBS, mostly on the subjects of Social Sciences, American History/American Studies, Music & Performing Arts, Science & Engineering, and Health Sciences.
Independent Voices, a full-text database of alternative press periodicals published in the U.S. in the second half of the 20th century.
PrivCo is an excellent resource for business and financial research on non-publicly traded companies, including family-owned, private equity-owned, venture-backed, and international unlisted companies.
Data-Planet is a web-based research solutions tool that provides fast and easy access to data from licensed and public domain datasets within an easy-to-use interface.

Open & Affordable Textbooks Grants: The Libraries will give out 20 $1,000 grants.
Applications open on October 3
All faculty and course instructors are encouraged to apply.
Last year we gave out 32 grants with projected savings of $1.6 million for Rutgers students.

Research Data Management Support –we offer advice on best practices and planning; one on one consultations on data management issues; and workshops in data management software.

11. 8. Open Access Open Access Policy Effective September 1, 2015
“Each Scholar will provide, at no charge, an electronic copy of the author’s final version of each article, no later than the date of its publication, to the designated representative of the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, in an appropriate format (such as PDF) as specified by the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. An author’s final version is the version that follows formal peer review, sometimes called the ‘postprint,’ as distinguished from the publisher’s branded PDF version.”

Launched Spring 2016
We received an NEH grant to digitize New Jersey historical newspapers and are partners on an NSF funded Virtual Data Collaboratory.
We worked with Andrew Urban in the American Studies department on a digital project about Seabrook Farms that has received additional NEH funding to create a two-week Summer 2018 Institute for High School Teachers, titled "Seabrook Farms' Layered Histories of Displacement, Migration and Resettlement." This project engaged our Women’s Studies Librarian Kayo Denda and our digital projects team led by Rhonda Marker.
