7 SPF means sun protection factor; a sunscreen with a protection factor of 15 will block the UVA and UVB rays that are primarily responsible for skin cancer. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses with a 100% UV protection. Limit exposure to the sun and avoid exposure to the sun between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
