Last year Queensland’s community legal centres helped 57,141 clients with individual legal help

15 Last year Queensland’s community legal centres turned away
57,969 people who asked for our help, because we didn’t have the resources

Funding provided through NPA Focus on women, family law & domestic violence Amount unknown

17 Allocation of funding Questions to consider: Which of these should CLCQ prioritise in its advocacy? What other funding priorities should we adopt? Reinstate ‘core’ funding that was cut Continue funding for one-off projects Focus on DV & Family law New round of tenders New priority services eg Mental Health Law, Youth, DV, child protection, NDIS, etc CLC Management Committee to determine priorities this week (if possible) to feed into Government planning Support currently unfunded CLCs ‘Bring up the base’
