A campaign and a volunteer platform for 50+ activities, started in 2014 VISION To transform Bharat by involving people in sustainable social, economic and cultural initiatives and by imbuing the spirit of nationalism MISSION Introduce meaningful social, economic and cultural initiatives Connect individuals to participate in activities Inspire service-minded enthusiasts to develop problem-solving and leadership skills Provide opportunity to organizations to partner in nation-building Incubate new ideas to solve social & economic challenges

STEP(Social transformation empowerment program) 1-week residential social ‘orientation boot camp’ for upcoming volunteers Impart basic skills & knowledge to social volunteer & entrepreneur In-depth understanding of social sector needs & avenues available VOLUNTEER WORKSHOPS Half-day or 1-day workshops for interested in their vicinity Glimpse of different social projects going on Mapping them according to their interest and skill-sets VIVEK BAND CAMPAIGN Campaign between 12th - 26th January Inspiring youth with spirit of nationalism through Swami Vivekananda’s message of Character-building and Nation-building In essence, “ Be Good Do Good” - wear wrist bands Invite youth to explore Samartha Bharata for DO GOOD activity

6 BACKGROUND Launched in 2015 on 152nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda Annual campaign between 12th-26th January GOAL As envisioned by Swami Vivekananda, to orient youngsters towards character-building developing societal goals for nation-building In essence , BE GOOD – DO GOOD

Guiding examples –Practice yoga, Maintain personal hygiene, Read inspirational books, Practice discipline/honesty/compassion to living beings DO GOOD – Societal goals for Nation-building Guiding examples – Impart values to kids, teach under-privileged, organise cleanliness programs in neighbourhood, water conservation, donate blood, conduct organ donation camps etc Visit for more such activities
