Photo: © joebelanger | iStock Getting into the Practice That’s why we are told to make sure our hearts are right with God. In the Lord’s Supper, we remember the physical body of Jesus on the cross. But we also acknowledge His church—our brothers and sisters in the faith sitting around us—as His “body.” Focus on Jesus and His death on the cross and confess any sinful attitudes toward others. Doing so will please God. Click to add notes Photo: © Lord_Kuernyus / iStock / Thinkstock®
