We witness throughout each campus students who excel in math, science, and technology. These students need an outlet to grow their abilities, and thrive in an environment specifically created for their skill set.

STEM occupations are projected to grow by 17% from , compared to 9.8% growth for Non-STEM occupations.

STEM education can substantially benefit students of all grade levels, backgrounds and learning abilities.
REAL WORLD:
STEM allows application in all subject areas through projects designed for students to solve problems and gain real-world insights.

10. Joining the STEM Magnet School Rocket Community
Complete an application (available here tonight or on the GISD website).
Student attendance and discipline records will be reviewed along with application.
Students with acceptable attendance and discipline records will be chosen by a lottery system.
Applications are due by May 15, Applications can be dropped off at any GISD elementary campus or Wesley Martin Administration building.
Parents will be notified after May 19, 2017.
