Welcome to Parkdale Evangelical Free Church!
August 20, 2017

Job 9 5 He moves mountains without their knowing it     and overturns them in his anger. 6 He shakes the earth from its place     and makes its pillars tremble. 7 He speaks to the sun and it does not shine;     he seals off the light of the stars.

Job 9 9 He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the south. 10 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed,     miracles that cannot be counted.

Psalm 19 1 The heavens declare the glory of God;     the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech;     night after night they reveal knowledge. 3 They have no speech, they use no words;     no sound is heard from them. 4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,     their words to the ends of the world.

Psalm 19 In the heavens God has pitched a tent  for the sun. 5 It is like a bridegroom  coming out of his chamber,    like a champion rejoicing to run his course. 6 It rises at one end of the heavens     and makes its circuit to the other;     nothing is deprived of its warmth.

Psalm 51 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,     and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence     or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation     and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Psalm 51 16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. 17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. 18 May it please you to prosper Zion, to build up the walls of Jerusalem.

Communion 1 Corinthians 11: “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.  This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
