Smooth Monitor Smooth MONITOR is a software package that allows equipment monitoring and utilization analysis to improve productivity. Maintenance and production status are monitored, and machine status can be ed to supervisor to manage machine utilization. Variety of functions to improve productivity Productivity analysis and study is available using a wide variety of graphs, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) calculation. Smooth connection External devices, such as smart phones and tablet, can monitor machine/equipment status. DEMO MTConnect adapted MTConnect will be used for non-Mazak machine monitoring protocol.

23 Smooth Tool Management
Smooth TOOL MANAGEMENT is a software package that consolidates all tools in the shop-floor, transfers updated tool data directly to Mazak machines, and creates efficient and accurate shop-operation. Sharing life and wear information Tool life and wear information will be shared when the tool is on Mazak machine. Measuring by tool presetter Tool length and diameter will be transferred to Smooth Tool Management database. Tool data transferring by Tool ID chip Automatic tool data search and data transferring is available with Tool ID chip, reducing human-error. (*) Only for Mazak machines. Machine and tool presetter need to have ID reader.

PMC-Smooth Smooth PMC is production management software for Mazak Palletech Manufacturing Systems. Smooth GUI Home screen like Mazatrol SmoothX control will enable intuitive operation. DEMO Simulation and utilization analysis Simulation predicts necessary tools and production output according to production schedule. Variety of graphs enables analysis of past utilization. Smooth connection External devices, such as smart phones and tablet, can monitor PMC status. Adapting SQL server helps connectivity to customer’s host system.
