1 Stitch – Land Example

2 ND Interpolation using Stitch
A land data example of N dimensional interpolation on Offset Vector Tiles.

3 N Dimensional Interpolation in Claritas
N Dimensional interpolation in Claritas is performed using the STITCH_PREP and STITCH modules. STITCH_PREP performs preferential binning based on user defined selection parameters including proximity to Bin centre, Azimuth or user defined. STITCH then takes the information defined by STITCH_PREP and performs interpolation and bin-centring on the selected dataset. This example is on a small New Zealand 3D Land dataset, the data is pre-prepared for stitch by splitting the data into common azimuth vectors, 0-90, , and degrees. Each of these volumes were then separately processed through STITCH_PREP and STITCH before recombining prior to stack.

8 N Dimensional Interpolation in Claritas
The data in this example was run after Geometry application and Refraction statics, ideally you would run Stitch after noise attenuation and residual statics utilising best available velocity field to produce best results. Processing flow after Stitch would generally consist of PreSTM on each OVT volume, velocity analysis and stack.
