1. Garment Exchange Consignment Agreement
I, the undersigned, hereby consign the item(s) listed to the Garment Exchange (GX) for a period of 90 days. Prices are set by the GX. Resale items are priced approx. 1/3 of full retail and new w/ tags are priced approx. ½ price of full retail.
We will send you an with your item list within 1 week. Please call if you do not receive a list. Check items and pricing on this and let us know ASAP if there is a problem. Your expiration date will be on that . We do not remind you again when your consignment period is over. If you want your unsold items back, please keep track of this date.
If your item sells within 90 days, you will receive your % of the purchase price minus our tag fees which the buyer pays. For items priced under $100 you will receive 40% and items priced $100 or more you will receive 50%. If you choose store credit then your percentage will be 50%.
After 30 days, merchandise is reduced 15% off original price and after 60 days merchandise will reduce 25% off original price.
Items pulled early will have $2 per item fee.
After 90 days your consignment will expire and you will have an additional 10 days to pick up any unsold items. Please call in advance and give us at least 2 day notice so we can find and pull your items. After the 10 days, if unsold items have not been picked up they will become store property.
Checks will be issued at the end of each month for the amount of $40 or more and occurring in the previous month. You can be paid in cash at the store anytime. You are responsible to stop by and get paid out when your consignment period is over for amounts less than $40.
The GX reserves the right to mark down any item an additional 10% for, but not limited to; Holiday Sales and Event Sales. Damaged merchandise may be marked down 50%
After or while we are entering your items, if we find a stain, hole or any type of damage during your consignment, we have the right to donate any item priced under $50. When you drop off items, we are looking for brands and styles and we assume the items are brought in clean and without issues like holes or stains.
If you are dropping off items, you must pick the items we do not take within 7 Days or they will be donated.
I hereby warrant that I have complete title to the merchandise listed and will not hold GX responsible for any claim of title to it. I also understand that GX assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to listed merchandise by fire, theft, accident or any other cause.
