Festival of Trees For over 30 years (and a great cause!), the Festival of Trees has been getting Edmontonians geared up for the holidays. Hundreds of trees and lights, live music, shopping, and crafts are all waiting for you at the Shaw Conference Centre. It's like stepping into a life-sized snow globe!

DBA Holiday Light Up To mark the beginning of the season, Downtown Business Association will be lighting the giant 72-ft Christmas tree in Churchill Square as part of a celebration including mascots, carolers, music, and fireworks. Bring the whole family and a donation for the Food Bank. Mayor Don Iveson will even welcome Santa from the North Pole! November 12
The dancing lessons will be back around November 15 the schedule will be posted at the daycare
