9 Portfolio Collection of the products and processes of your learning – the six design artefacts well-designed and illustrated work – select a format that is most relevant and appropriate to your project contain a digital component that includes, at minimum, digital records of the items you selected for the four parts of the portfolio. contain a material component that provides a means to engage with your design proposal and appreciate the meaning of the portfolio items. length depends on the nature of the items included, but 20 pages or equivalent is probably needed support you to critically reflect the products and processes of your learning to select the most effective and meaningful items.

10 Portfolio 1. Introduction that outlines the scope of your project, the contents of the portfolio, and manner in which the reader should engage with the portfolio. 2. Six Artefacts that demonstrate your skills to illustrate and explain solutions to complex issues by visual and narrative means, and a selection of supporting materials that communicate your designerly intelligences and attitudes. 3. Designerly Intelligence that your group performed during the design project. Understanding of what you are doing and justifying why you are doing it. Show how you integrated the principles of human-centred and collaborative design into your process. Respect and empathy for people, connecting multiple viewpoints and perspectives, and aesthetics of human experience. 4. Reflection: Individually write a 1-2 page letter to a friend, real or imaginary, who is thinking of enrolling in the UID next year. reflect on the course and report on how it has affected your appreciation of the role of the designer. reflect upon your own performance throughout the course. skills, knowledge, and attitudes that you think are important for successful human-centred and collaborative design practice.
