1 I Samuel 13:13,14 Acts 13:22

2 SCRIPTURE “And Samuel said to Saul, ‘You have acted foolishly; you have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God which He commanded you; For now the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. But the LORD HAS SOUGHT OUT FOR HIMSELF A MAN AFTER HIS OWN HEART.’” (I Samuel 13:13,14) “I have found David, the Son of Jesse, a MAN AFTER MY HEART who will do all my will.” (Acts 13:22)

DAVID’S HEART “O Absalom, my son, Absalom. Would that I had died instead of you, O Absalom, my son, my son!” (II Sam. 18:33) GOD’S HEART “But God demonstrated His love toward us in that while we were rebelling against Him, Christ died for (instead of/on behalf of) us.” (Rom. 5:8) (Absalom was in rebellion against David, his father, just as we were in rebellion against God.
