Objective
Based on a survey on recreational use of forest in Lorraine carried out in 2010 :
To map the marginal willingness-to-pay (WTP) of changes in quality and access to forests in Lorraine by the population living in Lorraine

We had in fact 1000 respondents in survey but not all had visited a forest and not all had indicated on a carte which forest visited. 3

Average number of visits per year: 26
Number of visits depend on distance to and quality of local forests as well as characteristics of the household.
