At most institutions, the verification process must be completed before financial aid can be awarded including most of our state funded programs.
Some institutions may give the student the option of not completing the verification process if they ONLY wish to receive Tennessee Lottery HOPE Scholarship.

Delays in sending documentation may result in student’s not having their financial aid by the time that fees must be paid each semester
Tennessee Promise students selected for verification must submit all requested documentation by August 1
Deadlines may vary from one institution to another one
