10. I. Know Jesus through Faith
Philippians 3:4-6 4 though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. Paul calls us not to put confidence in the flesh (v. 3)
Paul’s list of credentials:
circumcised on the eighth day.
of the people of Israel.
of the tribe of Benjamin.
a Hebrew of Hebrews.
in regard to the law, a Pharisee.
as for zeal, persecuting the church.
for legalistic righteousness, he was faultless.

Do we need to throw over overboard our own good works and religious activities and come to the full knowledge of Christ through faith in Him?
