It must be done daily. The Bible must be engaged in, reflected upon, and interacted with. The Guess Challenge

6 Jonah tries to run away from God.
Have you ever tried to run away from God?

8 2. Jonah is willing to sacrifice his life and die for strangers,
but he is not willing to sacrifice and live for God. Are you putting your own priorities above living for God?

10 3. These new “God-followers” believe in, pray to, offer a sacrifice to, and vow to serve God. Often times it’s the newest Christians that have the most powerful witness to others. If you are a new Christian or new to church, are you telling others?

12 4. God gives Jonah a second chance
4. God gives Jonah a second chance. God is willing to offer each one of us a second (or third, or fourth, or fifth . . .) chance in life. Am I taking the second, third, fourth chance that God is offering me?

14 5. Jonah is arrogant and thinks he knows better than God how to do things. Christians don’t “own” God. Have you ever acted in a way that sent the message, “God is only for me”?
