Active Working Groups 982.1, IEEE Standard Dictionary of Measures to Produce Reliable Software 1012, Verification and Validation 1062, Software Acquisition 1723.1, IEEE Standard for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Solution Reference Architecture 1723.2, IEEE Standard the Reference Architecture Foundation for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Version 1.0 1760, Information Technology Service Measure and Service Level Agreements 2030.4, Guide for Control and Automation Installations Applied to the Electric Power Infrastructure 23026, Engineering and management of websites for systems, software, and service LCP WG, Adoption and Joint Development of SC7 Life Cycle Process Standards Number of PARs approved YTD 4 approved, 4 PARS are on June 8th agenda Number of Stds sent to ballot 4 approved, 4 in ballot, 1 on RevCom agenda

3 Other Activities The NDIA working group developing CMMI mapping and RFP language regarding , Standard for Application of Systems Engineering on Defense Programs, and 15288/2, Standard for Technical Reviews and Audits on Defense Programs New Chair (Prof. Sabastian Lehnhoff) finally in place for , Guide for Control and Automation Installations Applied to the Electric Power Infrastructure Reconstituting the Working Group for P1828, Systems with Virtual Components S2ESC will be working with our NASA liaison members to address standardization for safety critical systems Our IEEE 1228, Software Safety Plans is extremely out of date. NASA has several base documents that could jumpstart this new effort. The NASA documents will be publically available shortly. The work of our IEEE 1012, Verification and Validation, and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15026, System and Software Assurance are also relevant
