1. Proverbs 8:10-11 10 Receive my instruction, and not silver,

2. How much better to get wisdom than gold!

3. What is Wisdom? Wisdom often confused with knowledge.
Knowledge is mere possession of facts.
Wisdom is the ability to combine facts so as to determine causes and effects.
-- The ability to look at a situation and accurately determine its cause.
-- The ability to predict the outcome of a particular course of action.
The test of maturity is ability to foresee consequences and act accordingly.

4. How is Wisdom Gained? The Best source is God!
The hard way is by trial and error.
A better way is by observation.
Still better is instruction from wise counselors.
-- Who have made their own mistakes.
-- Who have had more opportunity to observe
-- Who love you and are concerned for you.
The Best source is God!

5. God’s Qualifications He made us. He is “All-wise”
He has observed every human life.
He knows what is in the future.
He can fore-see consequences.
He has communicated His wisdom.
His word is our “Owner’s manual”
