With a Network Attorney There Are

Many families in America may have a new or ongoing legal problem every year. Those legal needs can be anything from closing on a house to adopting a child to revising your will. For many cases, the savings from just one use of the group legal plan may equal or even exceed the amount of [monthly] premium payments.
For less than a dollar a day, you, your spouse and dependents can have access to a network attorney for a variety of legal services.
Hyatt Legal Plans has more than 14,000 network attorneys nationwide, who have an average of 25 years of experience.
You may choose to see any attorney, whether or not they participate in the Plan. If you visit an attorney that does not participate in the Plan, you will be reimbursed for covered services according to a set schedule of fees. You would be responsible for paying the difference between the attorney’s charge for that service and the fee schedule amount.

4. Locating a Network Attorney
EASE OF USE
Locating a Network Attorney
STEP 1 – Call Hyatt Legal Plans at , reference your company name or group number and a Client Service Representative will assist you in locating a network attorney in your area and provide a case number.
STEP 2 – Call your attorney and provide your case number to make an appointment.
STEP 3 – You’re done! When using a network attorney, no claim forms or co-payments are required—the attorney handles all the paperwork.

5. COST EFFECTIVE
If you use MetLaw just once in a year, it is very likely that the plan will more than pay for itself.
Review the table to see the potential savings for a legal insurance plan member who enrolls in MetLaw and uses a network attorney for 4 basic legal matters.
Here is an example of the potential annual savings when using MetLaw. All you pay is your monthly premium no matter how many times you use a Plan Attorney over the course of the year for covered legal matters.
Fees for legal services are based on the average amount of hours it would take using the average hourly rate of $290.00/hour based on years of legal experience. National Law Journal and ALM Legal Intelligence, Survey of Law Firm Economics (2013).
The cost for MetLaw is based on an average rate of $18 per month. Prices may vary.
