2 Weather In Spanish, you use the verb HACER with weather.
Sometimes you use HAY. You can also use a regular verb. You rarely use SER or ESTAR

3 Weather - HACER ¿Qué tiempo hace? (It’s good weather)
(What’s the weather?) Durante el verano: Hace calor (It’s hot) Hace sol (It’s sunny) Hace buen tiempo (It’s good weather) Hace Fresco It’s cool (temperature)

4 Weather - HACER ¿Qué tiempo hace? (What’s the weather?)
Durante el invierno: Hace frío (It’s cold) Hace viento (It’s windy) Hace mal tiempo (It’s bad weather)

5 Weather - HAY Hay sol. Hay luna. Hay nubes. (There is sun)
(There is moon) Hay nubes. (There are clouds)

6 Weather - HAY Hay nieve. (There is snow) Hay lluvia. (There is rain)

7 Weather - VERBS You can also use the following verbs:
Llover = llueve (it rains) Nevar = nieva (it snows) Brillar = brilla (it shines) Estar nublado = to be cloudy
