Good morning! My name is Andrew Glasmacher and I’m excited to talk to you today about the TalkPerfect DX Duplex Intercom! My presentation takes about 10 minutes, and I’ll be happy to take your questions at the end.
The TalkPerfect DX is a speech enhancement system is designed to improve communication at fixed-screen counters. It integrates easily with the CLD1 induction loop amplifier which makes it the obvious choice when assistive listening is also required. When a TalkPerfect system is needed, I would also consider adding a CLD1 counter loop system as well. Integrating the TalkPerfect DX system with a hearing loop effectively doubles the functionality of the intercom and provides a genuine benefit to hearing aid wearers. The hearing loop is easily accessed via the “T” coil on compatible hearing aids. It provides equality of access to services, and increases the interaction with customers who would otherwise be unable to use the service. Incidentally, about 80% of all hearing aids sold in the US already have the T-coil installed.

TalkPerfect Duplex Intercom
Standard installation is very straightforward. There are three options for client microphones: a glass mount microphone, a PZM Microphone, and a Pod Microphone. A Pod speaker mounts onto the counter for the client, and a combination mic/speaker/controller is installed on the inside counter for the staff member. These components connect to the TalkPerfect DX Amplifier which mounts under the counter. An AC jack is required. Adjustments to the client and staff volumes can be easily made via the recessed knobs at the top of the unit with a small screwdriver.
An optional CLD1 Hearing Loop system can be easily installed next to the TalkPerfect DX and connected by a single line input cable. (click)
