7 Work on increasing access to finance progressing
2 initiatives: Study on “Enabling Regulatory Framework for Equity Crowd-Funding in ASEAN”: a comparative study covering Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and UK; ASEAN institutional Framework on access to finance for MSMEs: in collaboration with the OECD. 7

8 National SME Development Council chaired by YAB PM
In Malaysia, SME development managed by SMECorp with the SME Masterplan as the overarching guiding framework. National SME Development Council chaired by YAB PM SMECorp as the Central Coordinating Agency MITI and agencies’ role in SME development SMECorp, BPU, MATRADE, MAI, MIDA initiatives such as Groom Big, vendor development, linkage with MNCs and larger companies, Go-Ex 8
