10 In 2002 Greece banned computer games
In 2002 Greece banned computer games. After that gaming in public places could be punished with imprisonment. The European Union did not support the actions of Greece and accused it of violating civil rights. Three years later the European Commission sued the Greek Government and since then the ban has been suspended.
