NEW PRICES/MEAL PATTERN SCHOOL YEAR

2 CNP ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY ALLOWED REDUCTION IN CNP STAFF BY 9 POSITIONS, RESULTING IN A SAVINGS OF ~$85,000 ANNUALLY. MEALS PER LABOR HOUR FYE = 15.51, MEALS PER LABOR HOUR FYE = 17.50, A 12% INCREASE IN LABOR EFFECIENCY. STARTED BREAKFAST PROGRAM IN THE CLASSROOM AT 13 SITES.

FOOD GROUP OLD REQUIREMENT NEW REQUIREMENT FRUIT and ½-¾ cup of fruit and veggies ¾-1 cup of veggies VEGETABLES combined per day. plus ½ -1 cup of fruit per day. GRAINS No whole grain requirement At least half of grains offered during a week must be whole grain. NUTRITION SODIUM 1,520 mg per day < 1,360 mg per day SATURATED/TRANS FATS No trans fat restriction Saturated Fat will remain less than 10 percent. Trans Fat zero grams per serving.
