2 Graduation Ceremony Prerequisites for students to take part in the ceremony: Bachelor’s Degree awarded Master´s courses completed, i.e. 90 credits Thesis seminar completed An updated version of the thesis (based on feedback given at the seminar) submitted to supervisor by deadline and there are no further additional changes of the thesis to submit

3 Photo Session Our photographer will take a group photo of you together with your programme classmates. Students that are not participating in the Graduation Ceremony are also welcome to be in the photo. Date: on Graduation Day 14 June Location: the Piazza at Viktoriagatan 13 Department of Economy and Society Wait outside the entrance to be called in. When: 10:00-12:30 Your specific time slot will be ed to you.

4 Graduation Ceremony Wednesday 14 June at 15:00
Konserthuset, The Gothenburg Concert Hall Dress code: Smart casual Time schedule: 13:45 SHARP students meet up for rehearsal inside the Gothenburg Concert Hall 14:30 Doors open for guests 15:00-16:30 Graduation Ceremony 16:30-17:00 Mingle

5 Rehearsal At 13:45 all students will be pre-seated, in alphabetical order per programme, row by row, before the guests arrive A quick rehearsal will take place. Please respect the schedule and be on time!

7 Tickets 1 ticket for yourself and 3 tickets for guests. i.e. you receive 4 tickets in total. Friday 9 June 10:00-12:00 Tickets can be picked up from the GS Office at L2 Deadline 12:00 – after this hour, all left over tickets will be realesed for others to collect. Friday 9 June at 14:00-15:00 Left over tickets will be released at L2 These will be available on a ”first come first served” basis. 1 ticket extra only/person.

8 The Richard C. Malmsten Award for best thesis 2017
Awarded each year to the best thesis within each Master´s Programme at the Graduate School. The award is for SEK for each author. The winners are contacted by on June 9th. Winners are presented at the Graduation Ceremony. There is also a celebration of the winners at the Gothenburg Concert Hall at 13:30-14:30, exclusively for the Malmsten Foundation, professors and winners. Details will be sent to the winners on June 9th.

9 Programme Certificate of Completion/Degree
Please note that the Certificate of Completion that is handed out at the Graduation Ceremony, issued by the Graduate School is not the official degree certificate. From University of Gothenburg; Official Degree Certificate. Apply online! It takes 6- 8 weeks to receive the official degree – make sure that your address is up to date. Ensure you have applied for your Bachelor´s degree. Check so that all credit points for your Master´s programme are in Ladok on Web. Questions regarding the application is handled by the Office of Degrees. If you are unsure about transferred credits please contact the student counselling at Graduate School.

11 Master`s thesis 19 June 2017, 12:00 The following must be submitted:
Deadline: submission of final thesis to the GS Administration at GS Student Office in L2. You are welcome to hand in the thesis before this date. The following must be submitted: 1 paper copy of the final thesis - in person or by letter post the Copyright agreement form, signed by ALL authors and in original only (authorization form for e-publishing in GUPEA) an ed version of the thesis (in Pdf or Word format) to

12 Master´s thesis When submitting the thesis to the Graduate School, it shall be: double paged, not stapled or punched the final, fully revised and approved version the front page should contain; - the thesis title - name of author/s - the name of the supervisor/s - logotype of the school (School of Business, Economics and Law)* - write “Graduate School” at the front page * Find the logotype at your programme GUL-page under “Graduation”.
