This matrix distributes 8 IF signals to 8 receivers in the frequency range 20…200 MHz without any blocking. Design The matrix is housed in a 3 U 19" subrack with very good RF shielding and consists of the following sub-assemblies: - low noise amplifiers with high dynamic range - power dividers (8-way) - solid-state switch boards SP8T - processor board - LAN interface (or tbs) - manual control module (as option) - redundant power supply units (as option) All the necessary signal, power supply and earthing connections are provided at the rear. The mains switch is located on the front panel. Control The matrix is normally controlled via a LAN interface. Other control interfaces like RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and IEEE488 are possible.
