9 Allergies and Special Diet menus
If a child has an allergy or special diet, then Manchester Fayre will ensure that the child is catered for , in accordance to the Allergy policy that Manchester Fayre has set. The policy that Manchester Fayre operates asks for supporting written confirmation of the dietary request; this may be from a GP, Allergy Nurse, Paediatrician or Dietitian. This ensures that Manchester Fayre has the full and accurate information about the dietary request, and therefore avoiding the unnecessary exclusion of foods from a child’s diet. Manchester Fayre provide allergy training to the Catering Team, and ensure that there is an allergy information folder available in the kitchens.

10 Themes Days for the Next Academic Year

11 Theme Days Theme Days are special days that involve a special menu and information about the celebrations. Manchester Fayre is always encouraging Schools to join in with these special days. It is a chance for pupils to engage with different cultural holidays and festivals, which not only allows new foods to be tasted, but also grasp a better understanding of other parts of the world and their traditions. If there is a theme day that pupils would like to take part in, we will always try and cater for their requests.
