GENERAL EDUCATION COMPULSORY EDUCATION PRIMARY EDUCATION SECUNDARY EDUCATION -This levels are compulsory and free - Compulsory for all students aged 6-16 (exceptionally until 18)

5 NURSERY EDUCATION - It is voluntary FIRST STAGE SECOND STAGE (0-3)
(3-6) - It is voluntary

6 PRIMARY EDUCATION - Free and compulsory education (students´books)
(6-12) FIRST STAGE 1st and 2nd level SECOND STAGE 3rd and 4th level THIRD STAGE 5th and 6th level - Free and compulsory education (students´books) - It is only possible to repeat once in every stage - Citizenship Education starts in the third stage - At the end of the second stage a diagnostic test will take place (4º level)

7 PRIMARY EDUCATION (6-12) 1. Location: schools (C.E.I.P. Centro de Educación Infantil y Primaria = Nursery and Primary Education Center) 2. Three stages: Two years each 3. Primary Education subjetcs: a) Social Science b) Arts Education c) Physical Education (P.E.) d) Spanish Grammar and Literature e) Foreign Language (English) f) Mathematics (Maths) g) Religious Education (R.E.) or alternative to R. E. h) Citizenship Education (only 5th level). i) Digital culture (only 6th level) j) Natural Science 4. In each subject the children will work listening, speaking, and writing, audiovisual communication, new technologies and values education 5. School hours per week are 25 (from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m.)

8 FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING
PRIMARY EDUCATION FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING ENGLISH FIRST STAGE (6-8) SECOND STAGE (8-10) THIRD STAGE (10-12) Compulsory 3 sessions a week Compulsory 2 sessions a week Compulsory 3 sessions a week

9 - Responsible for the class and attention to students’ parents
SCHOOL ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT TEAM - Head Teacher - Director of studies - Secretary TUTOR - Responsible for the class and attention to students’ parents EDUCATION COUNCIL - Educationalist, educational phychologist are concerned with helping children who are experienced in problems within an educational setting with the aim of enhancing their learning difficulties. -They help tutors and student´s parents in order to solve the learning problems of the children.

10 LIFE AT SCHOOL * Attending to class is compulsory * School annual plan * Rules of school Staff coordination, staff meeting, level management meeting, stage management meeting, area management meeting.

11 BILINGUAL SCHOOL “JUPITER”
* Shool project consolidated since 2000 * Use of foreign language in linguistic and non linguistic subjects * The project coordinator works with the teachers involved in the bilingual project * Teachers foreign languange improvement (official language school) * Our students have to go to a specific secondary school in order to be taught in the bilingual project

12 Three breaks for holidays
