3 Introduction Internet of things (IOT) is the buzz word.
The future is Internet of Things, which will transform the real world objects into intelligent virtual objects.

5 Cisco’s Prevision In 2008 the number of things connected to the internet was greater than the people living on Earth. Within 2020 the number of things connected to the internet will be about 50 billion.

6 Cloud based platform Cloud based platforms help to connect to the things around us so that we can access anything at any time and any place in a user friendly manner using customized portals and in built applications.

It is a open source c++ library for image processing. It has C++ ,Python,Java and MATLAB interfaces and supports Windows,Linux,Android and Mac OS . Haar cascade classifiers. Real time image processing.

19 Methodology On the Raspberry Pi and Cloud
Step1:- Face Detection Using Open CV Step2:- Uploading the images to the Cloud Step3:- Sending an and SMS notification to the registered user from the cloud. Step4:- Wait for the next event to occur and repeat the same. On the Mobile Application Step1:- Display the latest activity at the door step i.e., latest image from the cloud. Step2:- Provide the option for notifying the person at the door with the appropriate message or preloaded message.

System eliminates the work of office boy. Complete system is affordable. Occupies less space. Opening and closing the door by mobile. Text to speech conversion.
