4 Rank In Class Required graduation courses, up to a maximum of 26 credits, taken in grades 9 to 12 through the end of the 7th semester will be used to calculate class rank. Elective courses that produce the highest weighted grade will be used to calculate rank. Class rank will be based upon a weighted grade average

5 Weighted Grade Averages
WGA are determined by multiplying each semester grade of a ranked course by a rank factor and computing an average. Course Level AP, GT/AP, and Dual Credit AP – 1.29 Pre AP, Honors, Dual Credit non-AP – 1.15 Regular -1.0 The WGA determines rank in class.

6 Honor Graduates Students achieving high standards of academic excellence shall be recognized at the graduation ceremony as honor graduates based on the following criteria: Completion of the Distinguished level of Achievement Everything completed through the end of the 1st semester of your senior year. Overall Weighted grade average of a 90 or above

10 AP Exams AP Exams will be administered from May 1st – May 12th. A score of 1 – 5 is given on an AP exam Colleges may award credit based on AP score. You must request scores to be sent on your own. To check AP scores / College credit awarded Go to

24 Requesting Official Transcripts
Summer July 2017 Official Transcripts available First transcripts are free, any additional are $5.00. All official transcripts must be sent from Churchill to institution. Allow at least 5 working days for processing. Transcripts cannot be mailed via overnight services. SAT/ACT scores must be sent directly from Collegeboard.org or act.org. PLAN AHEAD SO THAT YOUR TRANSCRIPTS ARRIVE BY THE PUBLISHED DEADLINE.

26 Admission Terms to Know
Regular Admissions The regular application deadline specified by colleges is typically December through February Rolling Admissions No deadline date, applications are processed as received Early Action Non-binding, deadline usually in Oct/Nov Early Decision Binding agreement and should only used when applying to your top choice
