84 19. Song of Victory words by Yuko Kamiyama 1962; music from a Japanese song
BIOGRAPHY Song of Victory was received spiritually in February 1962 by a woman who had joined the first pioneering team in Japan in the city of Nagoya. Persecution was intense from the beginning, and the members went through many difficult experiences together, nevertheless becoming more dedicated and serious. A woman who had initially welcomed the pioneers into her home became very negative, eventually taking all the members to court. During the proceedings however, she broke down and confessed all her false accusations. It is significant that this song was received during the period prior to the trial.

92 21. Suffering and New Life BIOGRAPHY Reverend Moon was imprisoned on July 4, 1955, and those who recall this time sing this song with tears. Even as Reverend Moon and the late President Eu were handcuffed together and pulled by a chain through the hostile crowd, still their deepest concern was for the members left behind. This son was composed during this very stormy period. Despite all this, NEW LIFE abruptly changes into a joyful song praising those who are able to turn even the worst possible situation into the Garden of Eden.

See Lord Jesus bent in pray’r, in the garden late at night, See Lord Jesus bent in pray’r, in the garden late at night. See Him crying sweating blood watch it mingle with His tears; Twelve disciples all asleep, even Peter nods and snores. Iscariot comes with a kiss, hands Him over He is betrayed. How could it be? Tragic sight innocent Lord precious Lord. Twelve disciples watch from afar, ev’ryone is running away. Jesus alone captured and chained; soldiers lead Him to the prison. Frightened Peter runs from the scene; with his tunic hides his face; Look at Peter treacherous man, now pretends he does not know. He who made the lame leap for joy, He who made the blind man see, He who freely walked on the waves, where are all those miracles now? 22. 102 22. Suffering Jesus See Lord Jesus bent in shame, see Him bear His heavy cross, See Lord Jesus bent in shame, see Him bear His heavy cross. Spent, exhausted, body and soul, now He stumbles and He falls; Whipped from behind, driven along, Jesus treated just like a cow. Where are His men? Where are the twelve? Jesus now is standing alone. Not even one man is there bearing the cross for his Lord. Tho' the crowd may pity a thief, freeing sinful men of this world, Who'd volunteer to take His place, take the cross for God's son Jesus? How very sad, how very sad, mighty Father shedding tears; Lost and betrayed, lost and betrayed, all the Father's hopes are gone. Even the most ignorant men have a shred of common sense; Who can see the Father's despair, who can share His suffering pain? 22. What kind of sin did He commit, this, the only Son of God? Like a pure innocent sheep, He is dying, dying for you. Father above He cannot watch; When He turns His face from His Son. “My God, my God” Jesus cries “Why do you now forsake me?” Twelve disciples shared all His ways, still were deaf and blind to His heart. All gone to waste, all gone to waste, Providence of God is broken. No use now to cry and repent, all repentance comes too late. To prepare His coming again, sacrifices must be found. All the faithful shedding their blood, spilling for two thousand years, All this bloodshed, salvation's price, for three billion men of today. 22. All the tears He shed for earth became an endless sea. 24. Heart of the Father Originally in Eb (Capo 1 | D): D F#m Bm Em Bm G D D Bm A D G G D Em F#m G A A7 D G D Bm F#m D A D G A A7 D

174 Annie’s Song by John Denver
You fill up my senses like a night in a forest, Like the mountains in springtime, like a walk in the rain, Like a storm in the desert, like a sleepy blue ocean. You fill up my senses, come fill me again. Come let me love you; let me give my life to you. Let me drown in your laughter; let me live in your heart. Let me walk right beside you, let me always be with you. Come let me love you; come love me again. Annie’s Song G C D Em C G Em D C Bm Am C D D7 C D Em C G Em D C Bm Am D G C G

180 Baby Beluga by Raffi and Debi Pike
Baby Beluga in the deep blue sea, Swim so wild and swim so free; Heaven above and the sea below, And a little white whale on the go. Chorus: Baby Beluga, Baby Beluga, is the water warm, Is your mama home, with you so happy?

181 Baby Beluga Way down yonder where the dolphins play, Where you dive and splash all day, Waves roll in and waves roll out, See the water squirtin’ out of your spout. Chorus: Baby Beluga, Baby Beluga, sing your little song, Sing for all your friends, we like to hear you.

182 Baby Beluga When it’s dark, and you’re home and fed, Curl up snug in your water bed, Moon is shining and the stars are out, Good night, little whale good night. Chorus: Baby Beluga, Baby Beluga, with tomorrow’s sun, Another day’s begun, you’ll soon be waking.

183 Baby Beluga Baby Beluga in the deep blue sea, Swim so wild and swim so free; Heaven above and the sea below, And a little white whale on the go, You’re just a little white whale on the go.

184 Battle Hymn of the Republic written by Julia Ward Howe in 1861
Mine eyes have seen the glory Of the coming of the Lord. He is trampling out the vintage Where the grapes of wrath are stored. He hath loosed the fateful lightning Of His terrible swift sword. A His truth is marching on. Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

185 Battle Hymn of the Republic
I have seen Him in the watch-fires Of a hundred circling camps. They have built Him an altar In the evening dews and damps. I can read His righteous sentence By the dim and flaring lamps: His day is marching on. Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

186 Battle Hymn of the Republic
He has sounded forth the trumpet That shall never call retreat; He is sifting out the hearts of men Before His judgement seat. O be swift my soul, to answer Him, Be jubilant my feet! Our God is marching on. Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

187 Battle Hymn of the Republic
In the beauty of the lilies, Christ was born across the sea. With a glory in his bosom That transfigures you and me. As He lives to make men holy, Let us live to make men free! While God is marching on. Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

188 Battle Hymn of the Republic
He is coming like the glory Of the morning on the wave; He is wisdom to the mighty, He is honor to the brave. So the world shall be His footstool And the soul of wrong His slave. Our God is marching on. Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

189 Be Kind To Your Web-Footed Friends to the tune of the Sousa March
Be kind to your web-footed friends, For a duck may be somebody’s mother, They live in a swamp all alone, Where the weather is always damp. You may think that this is the end, It is, but to prove I’m a liar, We’re going to sing it again, Only this time a little bit high-er. (Repeat ad nausea)

190 Belvedere Song I know a place where the sun shines like gold, Where the cherries bloom forth in the snow, And down underneath is the loveliest place, Where the four leaf clovers grow. One leaf is for faith, and one is for hope, And one is for love you know, And God put another one in for you, If you search you find where they grow.

191 Belvedere Song But you must have faith, and you must have hope, You must love and be strong and so, If you work, if you wait, you will find the place Where the four leaf clovers grow. I know a place where the sun shines like gold, Where the cherries bloom forth in the snow, And down underneath is the loveliest place,

192 Be Thou My Vision Old Irish Hymn - 6th Century English versification by Eleanor Hull in 1912
Be thou my vision, Oh Lord of my heart Naught be all else to me save that thou art Thou my best thought by day or by night Waking or sleeping thy presence my light. Be Thou my wisdom and Thou my true word I ever with thee and Thou with me, Lord Thou my great Father, I thy true son; Thou in me dwelling and I with thee one.

193 Be Thou My Vision Riches I heed not nor man's empty praise Thou mine inheritance now and always; Thou and Thou only first in my heart, High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art. Be thou my battle shield, sword for the fight; Be thou my dignity, thou my delight; Thou my soul's shelter, thou my high tower: Raise thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

194 Be Thou My Vision High King of Heaven, my victory won May I reach heaven's joys, Oh bright heaven's sun Heart of my own heart, whatever befall, Still be my vision, Oh ruler of all.

195 Blue Skies Blue skies, smilin’ at me Nothing but blue skies do I see Bluebirds, singin’ a song Nothin’ but bluebirds all day long Never saw the sun shinin’ so bright Never saw things goin’ so right Noticin’ the days hurryin’ by When you’re love, my how they fly

196 Blue Skies Blue days, all of them gone Nothin’ but blue skies from now on Blue skies, smilin’ at me Nothing but blue skies do I see Never saw the sun shinin’ so bright Never saw things goin’ so right Noticin’ the days hurryin’ by When you’re love, my how they fly

198 Bridge Over Troubled Water
When you’re weary, feelin’ small. When the tears are in your eyes, I’ll dry them all. I’m on your side, oh when times get rough And friends just can’t be found Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down.

199 Bridge Over Troubled Water
When you’re down and out, when you’re on the street; When evening falls so hard, I will comfort you. I’ll take your part, oh, when darkness comes, And pain is all around, Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down.

200 Bridge Over Troubled Water
Sail on friend of mine, sail on by. Your time has come to shine, All your dreams are on their way, see how they shine. Oh, if you need a friend, I’m sailing right behind; Like a bridge over troubled water, I will ease your mind.

203 By and By written by Charles Albert Tindley in 1906 “The Father of Gospel Music”
By and by, when the morning comes, All the saints of God are gathered home. We'll tell the story how we've overcome, And we'll understand it better by and by.

204 By and By We are tossed and driven On the restless seas of time; Somber skies and howling tempest Oft succeed a bright sunshine. In the lands of perfect day, When the mists have rolled away, We will understand it better by and by. By and by, when the morning comes, All the saints of God are gathered home. We'll tell the story how we've overcome, And we'll understand it better by and by.

205 By and By We are often destitute Of the things that life demands; Want of shelter and of food, Thirsty hills and barren lands. We are trusting in the Lord And according to His word, We will understand it better by and by. By and by, when the morning comes, All the saints of God are gathered home. We'll tell the story how we've overcome, And we'll understand it better by and by.

206 By and By Trials dark on every hand, And we cannot understand All the ways the God would lead us To that blessed promised land. But He guides us with His eye And we'll follow Him on high; And we'll understand it better by and by. By and by, when the morning comes, All the saints of God are gathered home. We'll tell the story how we've overcome,

The food we eat is used to grow, and thus we make men free. Chorus: Hey! Hey! Come on in the kitchen! Hey! Hey! It’s rainin’ outside. Hey! Hey! Come on in the kitchen, In the home of our heart you don’t have to hide.

All God’s beauty, love and goodness can be yours and mine. Chorus: Hey! Hey! Come on in the kitchen! Hey! Hey! It’s rainin’ outside. Hey! Hey! Come on in the kitchen, In the home of our heart you don’t have to hide.

218 Country Roads I hear her voice in the mornin’ hours she calls me. The radio reminds me of my home far away. And drivin’ down the road I get the feelin’ that I should have been home yesterday. Yesterday. Country Roads, take me home, to the place I belong West Virginia, mountain momma, take me home, Country Roads

223 Danny Boy written by Frederic Weatherly in 1910
Oh, Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are callin' From glen to glen and down the mountainside. The summer's gone, and all the roses fallin‘ ‘Tis you, ‘tis you must go and I must bide. But come ye back when summer's in the meadow Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow. Yes, I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow. Oh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy, I love you so.

224 Danny Boy And when ye come and all the leaves are dying If I am dead, as dead I well may be. Ye'll come and find the place where I am lying And kneel and say an ave there for me. But come ye back when summer's in the meadow Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow. Yes, I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow. Oh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy, I love you so.

225 Danny Boy And I shall hear tho’ soft you tread above me And oh, my grave shall warmer, sweeter be. And you shall bend and tell me that you love me And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me. But come ye back when summer's in the meadow Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow. Yes, I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow. Oh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy, I love you so.

226 The Day of Hope by Dan G. Fefferman
The day of hope is dawning in the middle of the night. The sons of earth are turning to the one and only light. Out of the east it’s coming, burning, beaming bright. And all of the children come running; Lord, what a wonderful sight! The day of hope. The day of True Family. Day of joy; Day of delight!

227 The Day of Hope While mankind had been dreaming The truth shone bright and clear. Though we were unsure he was living, The Lord was very near. Into the world he’s coming, to wipe away our tears, And when in our hearts hope is living, What shall we do with our fears? The day of hope. The day of True Family. Day of joy; Day of delight!

243 Forever Young by Bob Dylan in 1974
May God bless and keep you always, may your wishes all come true, May you always do for others, and let others do for you. May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung, May you stay forever young Forever young, forever young, may you stay forever young.

244 Forever Young May you grow up to be righteous, may you grow up to be true, May you always know the truth, and see the light surrounding you. May you always be courageous, stand up right and be strong, May you stay forever young Forever young, forever young, may you stay forever young.

245 Forever Young May your hands always be busy, may your feet always be swift, May you have a strong foundation, when the winds of changes shift. May your heart always be joyful, may your song always be sung, May you stay forever young Forever young, forever young, may you stay forever young.

246 From A Distance From a distance, the world looks blue and green And the snow capped mountains white From a distance, the ocean meets the stream And the eagle takes to flight From a distance there is harmony And it echoes through the land It’s the voice of hope, it’s the voice of peace It’s the voice of every man

247 From A Distance From a distance, we all have enough And no one is in need And there are no guns, no bombs and no disease No hungry mouths to feed From a distance we are instruments We’re marching in a common band Playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace They’re the songs of every man God is watching us, God is watching us, God is watching us, from a distance

248 From A Distance From a distance, you look like my friend Even though we are at war From a distance, I just cannot comprehend What all this fighting is for From a distance, there is harmony And it echoes through the land It’s the hope of hopes, it’s the love of loves It’s the heart of every man

249 Generation of Righteousness by Dan G. Fefferman
As the day dawns out of the night A generation will come forth--; A generation of righteousness, Walking the way, the heavenly way of truth. Babylon! We’ve a message to send, The resurrection is at hand! And the generation of righteousness, Cometh now forth to heal the wounded land. Ah, ah, ah, ah.

250 Generation of Righteousness
For the dark will give way to the light, And the race will rise out of the mud, And a generation of righteousness, Will come forth shedding their tears, sweat and their blood, And the blood of our God will pour forth o’er His own, To make fertile a dry desert sand. And He’ll gather the fruit of the seeds He has sown. Trampling vintage for the marriage of the Lamb. Ah, ah, ah, ah.

251 Generation of Righteousness
God has given this land, Claiming His right, winning His fight we stand. You, who would build a new world, Give me your hand, brother I know we can. As the day dawns out of the night, A generation will come forth, A generation of righteousness, Walking the way, the heavenly way of truth. Ah, ah, ah, ah.

252 Get Together as sung by The Youngbloods
Love is but a song we sing, and fear’s the way we die. You can make the mountains ring, or make the angels cry. ‘Tho the bird is on the wing, and you may not know why. Come on people now, smile on your brother. Everybody get together, try to love one another right now.

253 Get Together Some will come and some will go, and we shall surely pass. When the one who left us here, returns for us at last; We are but a moment’s sunlight, fading in the grass. Come on people now, smile on your brother. Everybody get together, try to love one another right now.

254 Get Together If you hear the song I sing, you will understand. You hold the key to love and fear, all in your trembling hand. Just one key unlocks them both, it’s there at your command. Come on people now, smile on your brother. Everybody get together, try to love one another right now.

255 Getting Into You by Relient K?
When I made up my mind and my heart along with that To live not for myself but yet for God, somebody said Do you know what you are getting yourself into When I finally ironed out all of my priorities And asked God to remove the doubt That makes me so unsure of these Things I ask myself, I ask myself [Chorus] I'm getting into you  Because you got to me, in a way words can't describe I'm getting into you  Because I've got to be You're essential to survive I'm going to love you with my life When he looked at me and said I kind of view you as a son And for a second our eyes met And I met that with a question Do you know what you are getting yourself into [Chorus] I've been a liar and I'll never amount to The kind of person you deserve to worship you You say you will not dwell on what I did but rather what I do you say I love you and that's what you are getting yourself into [Chorus] He said, I love you and that's what you are getting yourself into

256 The Giving Tree There’s story that is told, about a tree that has a heart of gold. And a little boy who came to play one day. How they loved each other so. As the days passed by, their love would grow. They were meant to be together you might say. And climbing in the sun, the boy had so much fun; the tree was happy just to see him smile. But the lesson of the giving tree is life’s simplicity. And it’s giving love that makes your life worthwhile

257 The Giving Tree As the days turned into years, and the boy had cried too many tears, His visits became few and far between. But the tree was always there, Waiting patiently her love to share, even though her giving always went unseen. He has grown too big to climb, too busy to find time to play as in the childhood days gone by. But the lesson of the giving tree was life’s simplicity; And each time he walked away, the tree would cry.

258 The Giving Tree So the tree gave all she had, but even so the boy was sad, Cause he hadn’t learned the lesson deep inside. Growing old and all alone, He could finally find his way back home, and he found that giving tree had never died. And climbing in the sun, the boy had so much fun; the tree was happy just to see him smile. But the lesson of the giving tree is life’s simplicity. And it’s giving love that makes your life worthwhile

259 God Bless America written by Irving Berlin; popularized by Kate Smith
God bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her, and guide her, Through the night with the light from above. From the mountains, to the prairies, To the oceans, white with foam, God bless America, my home sweet home; God bless America, my home sweet home.

260 God Sees The Little Sparrow Fall
God sees the little sparrow fall, It meets His tender view If God so loves the birds, I know He loves me, too. Chorus: He loves me, too, he loves me, too, I know He loves me, too Because He loves the little things, I know He loves me, too.

261 God Sees The Little Sparrow Fall
He paints the lily of the field, Perfumes each lily bell; If He so loves the little flowers, I know He loves me well. Chorus: He loves me, too, he loves me, too, I know He loves me, too Because He loves the little things, I know He loves me, too.

262 God Sees The Little Sparrow Fall
God made the little birds and flowers, And all things large and small; He’ll not forget his little ones, I know He loves them all. Chorus: He loves me, too, he loves me, too, I know He loves me, too Because He loves the little things, I know He loves me, too.

263 God’s Majestic Crown words by Stefan des Lauriers; music by David Eaton
We’ve come to God’s creation, and are gathered in a ring With hope for nations near and far, to hear the song we sing As we join hands in a circle, let the majest unfold God’s children all together now, create a crown of gold Let’s all join hands and sing, God’s children in a ring Let our spirits shine, like heavenly jewels In God’s Majestic Crown

264 God’s Majestic Crown True love endures like starlight, two thousand years ago The light sent from a passing star will still appear to glow A giving heart is sunshine reaching out to everyone Let’s bring those halos down to earth From ‘round the moon and sun Let’s all join hands and sing, God’s children in a ring Let our spirits shine, like heavenly jewels In God’s Majestic Crown

265 God’s Majestic Crown Let’s lift our hands to heaven beyond the golden skies As one by one the stars appear and hope is on the rise For every soul that joins us for each new hand we hold There’ll be another star of love to grace the crown of gold Let’s all join hands and sing, God’s children in a ring Let our spirits shine, like heavenly jewels In God’s Majestic Crown

266 Go Down Moses When Israel was in Egypt’s land, let my people go! Opress’d so hard they could not stand, let my people go! Go down, Moses, way down in Egypts land Tell old Pharaoh, let my people go! Thus saith the Lord, bold Moses said, let my people go! If not I’ll smite your first born dead, let my people go!

267 Go Down Moses No more shall they in bondage toil, let my people go! Let them come out with Egypt’s spoil, let my people go! Go down, Moses, way down in Egypts land Tell old Pharaoh, let my people go! The Lord told Moses what to do, let my people go! To lead the Hebrew children through, let my people go!

268 Go Down Moses O come along Moses, you’ll not get lost, let my people go! Stretch out your rod and come across, let my people go! Go down, Moses, way down in Egypts land Tell old Pharaoh, let my people go! As Israel stood by the waterside, let my people go! At God’s command it did divide, let my people go!

269 Go Down Moses When they reached the other shore, let my people go! They sang a song of triumph o’er, let my people go! Go down, Moses, way down in Egypts land Tell old Pharaoh, let my people go! Pharaoh said he’d go across, let my people go! But Pharaoh and his host were lost, let my people go!

270 Go Down Moses O take your shoes from off your feet, let my people go! And walk into the golden street, let my people go! Go down, Moses, way down in Egypts land Tell old Pharaoh, let my people go!

271 Gonna Build A Kindgom! by Jon Schuhart
Gonna build a kingdom on this sad old ground; Gonna build a kingdom all around! Gonna call it heaven ‘cause that’s what it’ll be, A place of beauty, peace and joy for you and me! It’ll take some hard work to make this old mud new. It’ll take a struggle, but we’ll see it through! Go and tell your friends if they want to come, That they’re all welcome to this land we call freedom!

272 Gonna Build A Kindgom! Fight determined to be victors and we’ll triumph in the end, And we’ll stop this world of trouble, And we’ll ease this pain for men. We’ve a kingdom to establish with our tears, Our sweat, our blood; And we’ll kick to hell this world of hell And build a new world for God!

273 Gonna Build A Kindgom! So come all you people, it’s your kingdom too; ‘Cause it won’t be a kingdom without you. So rejoice my brothers, all men of all lands; For the glory of the true world, That wonderful me and you world, The kingdom of the new world is at hand!

278 Hand in Hand by Giorgio Moroder and Tom Whitlock
We see the fire in the sky We feel the beating of our hearts together. This is our time to rise above. We know the chance is here to live forever, for all time. Hand in hand we stand, all across the land, We can make this world a better place in which to live. Hand in hand we can start to understand. Breaking down the walls that come between us, for all time. Arirong.

279 Hand in Hand Everytime we give it all. We feel the flame eternally inside us. Lift our hands up to the sky. The morning calm asks us to live in harmony, for all time. Hand in hand we stand, all across the land, We can make this world a better place in which to live. Hand in hand we can start to understand. Breaking down the walls that come between us, for all time. Arirong. (Repeat chorus)

280 Happy Heart There’s a certain sound always follows me around; When you’re close to me you will hear it. It’s the sound that lovers finally will discover When there is no other for their love. Take my happy heart away, let me love you night and day In your heart I wanna stay, oh my love.

Take my happy heart away, let me love you night and day In your heart I wanna stay, oh my love. (Repeat Chorus with “La-la’s”)

288 The Heart Of My Country words by Hillie Edwards
The heart of my country beckons to me to fill its emptiness. My Father long has spoken to me, His desire this land to bless. He sends me on to life unknown, to work in a far off place. 294 Higher Ground I'm pressing on the upward way, New heights I'm gaining every day, Still praying as I'm onward bound, Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. Chorus: Lord, lift me up and let me stand. By faith on heaven's table land, A higher plane than I have found;

295 Higher Ground My heart has no desire to stay Where doubts arise and fears dismay, Though some may dwell where these abound, My prayer, my aim is higher ground. 298 Hills and Valleys written by Mark Ungar
In the hills and in the valleys, In the country and the towns, The old folks and the young ones Wondered what was coming down. A man who knew the heart of God came from beyond the sea. Could it be he was the one who came to set the people free?

299 Hills and Valleys The mothers and the fathers, their daughters and their sons All somewhere deep inside their hearts Were waiting for the one; The one who knew the heart of God The one whose eyes could see. Could it be he was the one who came to set the people free?

300 Hills and Valleys Chorus: Amen! Come the Lord into our midst, Songs of life springing from his lips. And all who heard the words he spoke Laid them up in their hearts. And believed in him whom He had sent.

301 Hills and Valleys In the world of flesh and the world of soul, All creatures heard the news. The one who taught the way of life Was good and clean and true; The one who knew the heart of God, The one whose eyes could see; Could it be he was the one who came to set the people free? Could it be he was the one who came to set the people free?

302 Hills and Valleys Chorus: Amen! Come the Lord into our midst, Songs of life springing from his lips. And all who heard the words he spoke Laid them up in their hearts. And believed in him whom He had sent. (repeat Chorus) …And believed in Him who He had sent.

306 How Great Thou Art Carl Gustaf Boberg (1859-1940)
He was a Swedish pastor, editor, and member of the Swedish parliament. Mr. Boberg was enjoying a nice walk when a thunderstorm suddenly appeared out of no where. A severe wind began to blow. After the storm was over, Mr. Boberg looked out over the clear bay. He then heard a church bell in the distance. And the words to How Great Thou Art begin to form in his heart~

307 How Great Thou Art O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder Consider all the works Thy hands have made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy pow’r thro’out the universe displayed. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art, how great Thou art! This sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee;

308 How Great Thou Art When thro’ the woods and forest glades I wander And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees, When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur, And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art, how great Thou art! This sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee;

309 How Great Thou Art And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, Allowed Him to die, I scare can take it in, That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art, how great Thou art! This sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee;

310 How Great Thou Art When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration, And there proclaim, my god, how great Thou art. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee: How great Thou art, how great Thou art! This sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee;

311 I Can See Clearly Now written by Johnny Nash in 1972
I can see clearly now the rain is gone I can see all obstacles in my way Gone are the dark clouds that kept me blind It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day! Yes I can make it now the pain is gone All of the bad feelings have disappeared Here is the rainbow I’ve been praying for

I can see clearly now the rain has gone I can see all obstacles in my way Gone are the dark clouds that kept me blind It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day!

313 If I Aint Got You Alicia Keys
Some people live for the fortune, some people live just for the fame Some people live for the power yeah some people live just to play the game Some people think that the physical things define what's within And I've been there before, but that life's a bore, so full of the superficial Some people want it all, but I don't want nothing at all, If it ain't got you baby, if I ain't got you baby Some people want diamond rings, some just want everything But everything means nothing If I ain't got you

314 If I Aint Got You Some people search for a fountain, the promises forever young Some people need three dozen roses and that's the only way to prove you love them Hand me a world on a silver platter, and what good would it be? With no one to share, with no one who truly cares for me Some people want it all, but I don't want nothing at all, If it ain't you Father, if I ain't got you Mother Some people want diamond rings, some just want everything But everything means nothing If I ain't got you

315 If I Aint Got You Some people want it all, but I don't want nothing at all, If it ain't you Father, if I ain't got you Mother Some people want diamond rings, some just want everything But everything means nothing If I ain't got you If I aint gotchya with me God I said nothing in this whole wide world don’t mean a thing If I aint gotchya with me God~

316 If I Can Dream There must be light, burning brighter somewhere, Got to be birds, flying higher in a sky, more blue, If I can dream of a better land, Where all my brothers walk hand in hand, Tell me why, oh why, oh why can’t my dreams come true? There must be peace and understanding sometime, Strong winds of promise that will blow away the doubt and fear, If I can dream of a warmer sun, Where home keeps shining on everyone, Tell me why, oh why, oh why won’t the sun appear?

317 If I Can Dream We’re lost in a cloud with too much rain, We’re trapped in a world that is troubled with pain, But as long as a man has the strength to dream, He can redeem his soul and flyyyyy, Deep in my heart there’s a trembling question, Still I am sure that the answer, answer’s gonna come somehow, Out there in the dark there’s a beckoning candle, And while I can think, while I can talk, While I can stand, while I can walk, While I can dream, oh me and my dream, come true…. Ooh oh oh ohhhhhh… Righhhhhht nowwww

322 If Life Were Gracious Enough by Kristina Seher and Mark Ungar

324 If You Should Hear A Song by Sara Towe
Chorus: If you should hear a song out in the meadow loud and clear, Have no fear, he is there, calling His children near. He whispers and cradles all the world. His voice, it is handsome, old and new. The melody heard is that of love, And those who listen hear it true.

325 If You Should Hear A Song
Chorus: If you should hear a song out in the meadow loud and clear, Have no fear, he is there, calling His children near. The day may be stormy; it seems it is His wrath. Through all of your pleading it is cold. But who can read the Mastermind, And who doubts His heart of gold?

326 If You Should Hear A Song
Chorus: If you should hear a song out in the meadow loud and clear, Have no fear, he is there, calling His children near. As time is the sunshine, wisdom is the key. His children are growing to be free. And in that land where He was King, He now a Bridegroom shall be.

334 I’ll Never Find Another You as sung by The Seekers
There’s a new world somewhere they call the promised land, And I’ll be there someday if you will hold my hand. I shall need you there beside me no matter what I do, For I know I’ll never find another you. There is always someone for each of us they say, And you’ll be my someone forever and a day. I could search the whole world over until my life is through But I know I’ll never find another you.

335 I’ll Never Find Another You
Chorus: It’s a long, long journey, so stay by my side. When I walk through the storm you’ll be my guide, Be my guide. If they gave me a fortune, my pleasure would be small, I could give it all away tomorrow, and never mind at all. But if I should lose your love, dear, I don’t know what I’d do, For I know I’ll never find another you.

336 I’ll Never Find Another You
Chorus: It’s a long, long journey, so stay by my side. When I walk through the storm you’ll be my guide, be my guide. If they gave me a fortune, my pleasure would be small, I could give it all away tomorrow, and never mind at all. But if I should lose your love, dear, I don’t know what I’d do, For I know I’ll never find another you, Another you, another you.

337 I’ll Never Leave You Anymore words by Hillie Edwards; melody of an old English folksong
I'll never leave you anymore, For I have found in your bright eyes A river of love, a heart of gold, A peaceful mind, a hand to hold. And what‘ll I do with this precious gift? Shall I embrace it to myself? Oh, no I can't, I would lose it sure; It must be given if it's to endure.

338 I’ll Never Leave You Anymore
And how will I use this treasure store? How will I share this wordless joy? I'll greet all men with a loving heart; I'll speak the truth with a clear voice. And together we'll build a world that's new. That's fit for kings and fit for queens; We'll raise them up to rule the land, And place dominion in your hand.

339 I’ll Never Leave You Anymore
I'll never leave you anymore, For I have found in your bright eyes A river of love, a heart of gold, A peaceful mind, a hand to hold.

340 Imagine by John Lennon Imagine there's no heaven. It's easy if you try. No hell below us. Above us only sky. Imagine all the people living for today. You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us. And the world will be as one.

341 Imagine Imagine there's no country, it isn't hard to do. Nothing to kill and die for, and no religion too. Imagine all the people living for today. Well you may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us. And the world will be as one.

342 Imagine Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can. No need for greed or hunger, a brotherhood of man. Imagine all the people living for today. Well you may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us. And the world will be as one.

343 The Impossible Dream from the musical Man of La Mancha
To dream the impossible dream, To fight the unbeatable foe To bear with unbearable sorrow, To run where the brave dare not go To right the unrightable wrong, To love pure and chaste from afar To try when your arms are too weary, To reach the unreachable star

344 The Impossible Dream This is my quest: to follow that star No matter how hopeless, no matter how far To fight for the right without question or pause To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause! And I know, if I’ll only be true to this glorious quest That my heart will lie peaceful and calm When I’m laid to my rest. And the world will be better for this That one man, scorned and covered with scars Still strove, with his last ounce of courage To reach the unreachable star!

345 In The Light I keep trying to find a life On my own, apart from you I am the king of excuses I've got one for every selfish thing I do

346 In The Light What's going on inside of me? I despise my own behavior This is only serves to confirm my suspicions, that I'm still a man in need of a Savior I wanna be in the Light as You are in the Light I wanna shine like the stars in the heavens Oh Lord be my Light and be my salvation 'cause all I want is to be in the Light, all I want is to be in the Light

347 In The Light The disease of self runs through my blood It's a cancer fatal to my soul Every attempt on my behalf has failed To bring this sickness under control

348 In The Light What's going on inside of me? 349 I Saw The Light written by Hank Williams Sr.
I wandered so aimless, life filled with sin, I wouldn’t let my dear saviour in. Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night; Praise the Lord I saw the light. Chorus: I saw the light, I saw the light, No more darkness, no more night. Now I’m so happy no sorry in sight

350 I Saw The Light Just like a blind man I wandered along, Worries and fears I claimed for my own. Then like a blind man that God gave back his sight, Praise the Lord I saw the light. Chorus: I saw the light, I saw the light, No more darkness, no more night. Now I’m so happy no sorry in sight

351 I Saw The Light I was a fool to wander and stray; Straight is the gate and narrow the way. Now I have traded the wrong for the right; Praise the Lord I saw the light. Chorus: I saw the light, I saw the light, No more darkness, no more night. Now I’m so happy no sorry in sight

358 I Want To Give You This World by Hillie Edwards
I want to give you a thousand things; I want to give you this world. Full of children’s laughing voices; Peel away the muddy darkness Of our hate and fear. And we’ll find a world of light.

359 I Want To Give You This World
Once we could laugh and bare foot run; Where did the happy days go? Where are sun and dew sweet grasses? They are shackled in the prison Of our self-born pride. Smash the bars and free the world; That’s where the happy days lie.

360 I Want To Give You This World
Once by the sea we could sit and sing. Where has the happy world gone? Where are sun and dew sweet grasses? Where did the happy days go? But we can’t accept this blind world, Filled with loss and pain; So we’ll all roll up our sleeves; We’ll make it flower again.

361 Journey Standing on this lonely passage I wave to you a lullaby I hope we don’t turn in to strangers ‘Cause memories can fade with time From now to ever hold me closely Don’t let me go, don’t say good-bye Live a dream, don’t waste a lifetime Upon your wings forever fly

362 Journey Chorus: When the sun awakens look to see the light I’ll be there for you, my brother On the edge of heaven we will be alive, You and I, high

363 Journey Until we’re there I’ll take this journey I’ll travel there along your side Through all of this life’s tribulations And you will never see me cry Chorus: When the sun awakens look to see the light I’ll be there for you, my brother On the edge of heaven we will be alive, You and I, high

364 Journey Bridge: Time passes by but you were always there for me Love will never leave us and we will fly, you and I, high Chorus: When the sun awakens look to see the light I’ll be there for you, my brother On the edge of heaven we will be alive, You and I, high

370 Joy Is Like The Rain by Miriam Therese Winter (Medical Missionary Sisters)
I saw raindrops on my window, joy is like the rain. Laughter runs across my pain, slips away and comes again. Joy is like the rain. I saw clouds upon a mountain, joy is like a cloud. Sometimes silver, sometimes gray, always sun not far away. Joy is like a cloud.

371 Joy Is Like The Rain I saw Christ in wind and thunder, joy is tried by storm. Christ asleep within my boat, whipped by wind, yet still afloat. Joy is tried by storm. I saw raindrops on the river, joy is like the rain. Bit by bit the river grows, till all at once it overflows. Joy is like the rain.

372 Joy to the World Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let earth receive her King; Let every heart prepare Him room, And heaven and nature sing, And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.

373 Joy to the World Joy to the world, the Savior reigns! Let men their songs employ; While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

374 Joy to the World No more let sins and sorrows grow, Nor thorns infest the ground; He comes to make His blessings flow Far as the curse is found, Far as, far as, the curse is found.

375 Joy to the World He rules the world with truth and grace, And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness, And wonders of His love, And wonders, wonders, of His love.

376 Kumbaya Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya Oh, Lord, kumbaya Someone’s singing, Lord, kumbaya… Someone’s laughing, Lord, kumbaya… Someone’s crying, Lord, kumbaya… Someone’s praying, Lord, kumbaya…

377 Lean On Me written by Bill Withers in 1972
Sometimes in our life We all have pain, we all have sorrow But if we are wise, then we all know There is tomorrow

378 Lean On Me Lean on me when you’re not strong, I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on. For it won’t be long, ’Till I’m gonna need somebody to lean on Just call on me brother when you need a hand We all need somebody to lean on You know you might have a problem that I’ll understand,

379 Lean On Me Please swallow your pride If there is something you need to borrow For no one can fill Those of your needs that you won’t let show

380 Lean On Me Lean on me when you’re not strong, I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on. For it won’t be long, ’Till I’m gonna need somebody to lean on Just call on me brother when you need a hand We all need somebody to lean on You know you might have a problem that I’ll understand,

381 Lean On Me If there is a load You have to bear that you can’t carry I’m, right up the road, I’ll share your load, if you just call me.

382 Lean On Me Lean on me when you’re not strong, I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on. For it won’t be long, ’Till I’m gonna need somebody to lean on Just call on me brother when you need a hand We all need somebody to lean on You know you might have a problem that I’ll understand,

383 Let It Be by Lennon & McCartney
When I find myself in times of trouble, Heavenly Father comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, “Let if be”. And in my hours of darkness, He is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, “Let it be”. “Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.” There will be an answer, “Let it be”. Whisper words of wisdom, “Let it be”.

384 Let It Be And when the broken-hearted people, living in the world agree, There will be an answer, “let it be”. For though they may be parted There is still a chance that they will see, there will be an answer, “Let it be”. “Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.” There will be an answer, “Let it be”. Whisper words of wisdom, “Let it be”.

385 Let It Be And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, Shine until tomorrow, “let it be”. I wake up to the sound of music, Heavenly Father comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, “Let it be”. “Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.” There will be an answer, “Let it be”. Whisper words of wisdom, “Let it be”.

395 The Lord is One by Dan G. Fefferman
All my brethren, can’t you hear me say, The Lord will love you forever and a day. The Lord is One. Oh can’t you hear it, brother, And won’t you come along. To build the heavenly kingdom, And sing a brand new song!

396 The Lord is One Call everybody; try to understand, We’ve got to start working, the time is at hand. Call everybody; try to understand. The Day is come. Oh can’t you hear it, brother, And won’t you come along. To build the heavenly kingdom, And sing a brand new song!

397 The Lord is One Lo, on Mt. Zion, the son of man appears, To rule the house of Jacob for ten thousand years. And cries, it is done! Oh can’t you hear it, brother, And won’t you come along. To build the heavenly kingdom, And sing a brand new song!

398 The Lord is One All bound together, nobody can fall; Loving each other loving one and all. All bound together, nobody can fall, Our race is one. Our race is won!

399 Love Love, love, love, love, love is the power to draw together. Love your neighbor as your brother, love, love, love, love. Joy, joy, joy, joy, joy is the purpose of our lives. Let us dance before our Father, joy, joy, joy, joy. Peace, peace, peace, peace, peace is the hope of all mankind. Let us work to free our brothers, peace, peace, peace, peace.

400 Love Each Other by Joshua Cotter
Into this world came a child of purity He was meant to be free And all living things Will rejoice as he sings And his Father is grateful and proud.

401 Love Each Other Sun beaming down, as he walks through fields of green Which only he has seen And Father will smile As He looks on His child And the rainbow will break through the cloud.

402 Love Each Other And, "Love each other,“ These are the words of our Father He has given you All you need to see you through this world.

403 Love Each Other Bright is His hope. One by one His family grows, Like the petals of a rose Unfolding and sharing The fragrance of love His children will dance in the sun!

404 Love Each Other And, "Love each other,“ These are the words of our Father He has given you All you need to see you through this world.

405 Love is Born Anew by Joshua Cotter
Father, you’ve been on this road so long; Oh, won’t you rest your weary head upon my heart? Just take my hand, and together we will find A secret place where dreams are born And love’s alive, your love’s alive.

406 Love is Born Anew Father, you’re the rock that stands so strong; Although the waves have come against you For so long; you still go on. And your hope is like a flame That’s ever burning through the darkness And the pain.

407 Love is Born Anew Bridge: Turn the teardrops into smiles; You are the Father, I am Your child. And together, We will heal this world. And love is born anew.

410 Make You Feel My Love Written by Bob Dylan
When the rain is blowin' in your face And the whole world is on your case I could offer you a warm embrace To make you feel my love. When the evening shadows and the stars appear And there is no one there to dry your tears I could hold you for a million years To make you feel my love. Intro: C/G(highE) Gsus4 Am7(highE) F Fm C/G Dm7 G7 C/G Verse1: Verse2:

411 Make You Feel My Love I know you haven't made your mind up yet But I would never do you wrong I've known it from the moment that we met No doubt in my mind where you belong. I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue I'd go crawlin' down the avenue No, there's nothin' that I wouldn't do To make you feel my love. Bridge: F C/G E F C/G F C/G Dm7 G7 Verse3: C/G(highE) Gsus4 Am7(highE) F Fm C/G Dm7 G7 C/G Solo:

412 Make You Feel My Love Though storms are raging on the rollin' sea And on the highway of regrets Though winds of change are throwing wild and free You ain't seen nothin' like me yet. I could make you happy, make your dreams come true Nothing that I wouldn't do Go to the ends of the Earth for you To make you feel my love. 413 A Miracle America by Stefan des Lauriers
The morning sun is golden through the evergreens Like the Torch of Liberty charging through the foggy beams The landing of the Pilgrims on our verdant shore Can you see that shining city still glowing through the storm? Chorus: Have you seen the light of freedom? Its there for you and me High above the harbor for all the world to see A Miracle America the Light of Liberty

414 A Miracle America The Gateway Arch is shining, afternoons on the plains We’re grateful to be sharing in this harvest of choice grain The praire schooners ventured through unknown terrain And in the hearts of many that pioneer spirit remains Chorus: Have you seen the light of freedom? Its there for you and me High above the harbor for all the world to see A Miracle America the Light of Liberty

415 A Miracle America Bridge: And for those brave souls who were lost to us We remember you with tears And for those who have yet to live the dream May a brighter light appear From the depths of the Grand Canyon To the footprints in Moon dust We can take those giant leaps ‘cause it’s in God we Trust

416 A Miracle America The California Gold Rush in Eighteen Forty Nine And the last gleaming spike driven in the railway line The Golden Gate at sunset red and yellow black and white All races turn to gold as we face the amber light Chorus: Have you seen the light of freedom? Its there for you and me High above the harbor for all the world to see A Miracle America the Light of Liberty

417 More Than Words Saying I love you, is not the words I want to hear from you, It’s not that I want you, not to say but if you only knew, How easy, it would be to show me how you feel, More than words, is all you have do to make it real, Then you wouldn’t have to say, that you love me, Cuz I’d already know. What would you do, if my heart was torn in two? More than words to show you feel, that your love for me is real, What would you say, if I took those words away? Then you couldn’t make things new, just by saying, “I love you”. La di da da di da di da dai da, More than words… La di da da di da, da….

418 More Than Words Now that I’ve tried to, talk to you and make you understand, All you have to do, is close your eyes and just reach out your hand, And touch me, hold me close don’t ever let me go, More than words is all I ever needed you to show, Then you wouldn’t have to say that you love me Cuz I’d already know. What would you do, if my heart was torn in two? More than words to show you feel, that your love for me is real, What would you say, if I took those words away? Then you couldn’t make things new, just by saying, “I love you”. La di da da di da di da dai da, More than words… La di da da di da, da….

426 My Love as popularized by Petula Clark
My love is warmer than the warmest sunshine, softer than a sigh. My love is deeper than the deepest ocean, wider than the sky. My love is brighter than the brightest star that shines every night above, And there is nothing in this world that can ever change my love. Once I thought that love was meant for anyone else but me, Once I thought you’d never come my way. Now it only goes to show how wrong we all can be, Cuz now my love grows stronger every day.

427 O Come All Ye Faithful O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant, O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem; Come and behold Him, born the King of Angels; O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord.

428 O Come All Ye Faithful Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation, O sing, all ye citizens of heaven above; Glory to God, all glory in the highest; O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord.

429 O Come All Ye Faithful Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning, O Jesus, to Thee be all glory given; Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing; O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord. Amen.

430 Ode to Joy words by Henry Van Dyke; music by Ludwig van Beethoven
Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of Glory, Lord of Love Hearts unfold like flowers before you, opening to the sun above Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, drive the dark of doubt away. Giver of immortal gladness, fill us with the light of day.

431 Ode to Joy All Thy works with joy surround Thee, Earth and heaven reflect thy rays Stars and angels sing around Thee, center of unbroken praise. Field and forest, vale and mountain, flowery meadow, flashing sea, Chanting bird and flowing fountain call us to rejoice in Thee.

432 Ode to Joy Thou art giving and forgiving, ever blessing, ever blessed, Well spring of the joy of living, ocean depth of happy rest. Thou our Father, Christ our brother, all who live in love are thine. Teach us how to love each other, lift us to the joy divine.

433 Ode to Joy Mortals join the mighty chorus which the morning stars began. Father love is reigning o'er us, brother love binds man to man Ever singing march we onward, victors in the midst of strife. Joyful music leads us sunward in the triumph song of life.

434 Oh Susanna by Stephen Foster
I come from Alabama, with a banjo on my knee I’m bound for Louisiana, my true love for to see. It rained all night the day I left, the weather it was dry The sun so hot I froze myself; Susanna, don’t you cry. Chorus: Oh, Susanna, oh don’t you cry for me For I come from Alabama with a banjo on my knee.

435 Oh Susanna I had a dream the other night when everything was still, I dreamed I saw Susanna coming ‘round the hill. The buckwheat cake was in her mouth, a tear was in her eye, I said I come to take you home, Susanna don’t you cry. Chorus: Oh, Susanna, oh don’t you cry for me For I come from Alabama with a banjo on my knee.

436 Oh What A Beautiful Morning
Chorus: Oh, what a beautiful morning, oh, what a beautiful day. I’ve got a wonderful feeling, everything’s going my way. There’s a bright golden haze on the meadow. The corn is as high as an elephant’s eye, And it looks like it’s climbing clear up to the sky.

437 Oh What A Beautiful Morning
Chorus: Oh, what a beautiful morning, oh, what a beautiful day. I’ve got a wonderful feeling, everything’s going my way. All the cattle are standing like statues. They don’t turn their heads as they see me ride by, But a little brown maverick is winking his eye.

438 Oh What A Beautiful Morning
Chorus: Oh, what a beautiful morning, oh, what a beautiful day. I’ve got a wonderful feeling, everything’s going my way. All the sounds of the earth are like music. The breeze is so busy it don’t miss a tree, And an old weeping willow is laughing at me.

439 One World One Heart by Gil Roschuni
One world, one heart; one world, one heart And one strong love to lead. The light of Truth to set you free. The lighting flashes across the sky, To light the path of those who try.

440 One World One Heart One world, one heart; one world, one heart And the ancient serpent is thrown down. Can’t you hear the trumpet sound. And many stars fall from the sky, And they all wonder why.

441 One World One Heart One world, one heart; one world, one heart Into the age of fitting in. Bringing the old world to an end. Can’t you hear? Please heed the call. The call of Love meant for all men.

442 Open the Eyes of my Heart
Open the eyes of my heart lord, open the eyes my heart I want to see you, I want to see you. See you high and lift it up shining with the light of your glory Pour out your power and love as we sing holy, holy, holy. Holy, holy, holy.~ Holy, holy, holy.~ I want to see you, I want to see you.

443 Pass It On It only takes spark To get a fire going; And soon all those around Can warm up to its glowing. That’s how it is with God’s love Once you’ve experienced it; You spread his love to every one; You want to pass it on.

444 Pass It On What a wondrous time is spring, When all the trees are budding; The birds begin to sing, The flowers start their blooming. That’s how it is with God’s love; Once you’ve experienced it, You want to sing, it’s fresh like spring; You want to pass it on.

445 Pass It On I wish for you my friend This happiness that I’ve found; You can depend on Him, It matters not where you’re bound. I’ll shout it from the mountain top, I want my world to know; The Lord of love has come to me, I want to pass it on.

446 Pass It On We wish for you our friend This happiness that we’ve found; You can depend on Him, It matters not where you’re bound. We’ll shout it from the mountain top, We want our world to know; The Lord of love has come to us, We want to pass it on.

447 Peace Like A River I’ve got peace like a river, I’ve got peace like a river, I’ve got peace like a river in my soul. I’ve got love like an ocean… I’ve got joy like a fountain…

453 Pharaoh Pharaoh music by Richard Berry; lyrics by Tony Sbrana
Pharaoh, Pharaoh, oooh baby, let my people go! Uh! Yea, yea, yea, yea. Well a burning bush told me just the other day That I should come over here and stay. Gotta get my people outta Pharaoh’s hand And lead them all to the promised land, I said,

454 Pharaoh Pharaoh Pharaoh, Pharaoh, oooh baby, let my people go! Uh! Yea, yea, yea, yea. Well-a-me ‘n God’s people comin’ to the Red Sea And Pharaoh’s army comin’ after me, I raised my rod and stuck it in the sand. All of God’s people walked across dry land, I said,

455 Pharaoh Pharaoh Pharaoh, Pharaoh, oooh baby, let my people go! Uh! Yea, yea, yea, yea. Well-a Pharaoh’s army is a comin’ too, So what do you think that I did do? I raised my rod and I cleared my throat, And all of Pharaoh’s army did the dead man’s float, I said,

456 Pharaoh Pharaoh Pharaoh, Pharaoh, oooh baby, let my people go! Uh! Yea, yea, yea, yea. Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea~~~

462 The Power and the Glory by Phil Ochs
Come on and take a walk with me through this green and growing land, Walk through the meadows and the mountains and the sand, Walk through the valleys and the rivers and the plains, Walk through the sun and walk through the rain. Chorus: Here is a land full of power and glory, Beauty that words cannot recall, But her power shall rest on the strength of her freedom, Her glory shall rest on us all, on us all.

463 The Power and the Glory From Colorado, Kansas and the Carolinas too; Virginia and Alaska from the old to the new; Texas and Ohio and the California shore, Tell me, who could as for more? Chorus: Here is a land full of power and glory, Beauty that words cannot recall, But her power shall rest on the strength of her freedom, Her glory shall rest on us all, on us all.

464 The Power and the Glory But she’s only as rich as the poorest of the poor, Only as free as a padlocked prison door, Only as strong as our love for this land, Only as tall as we stand. Chorus: Here is a land full of power and glory, Beauty that words cannot recall, But her power shall rest on the strength of her freedom, Her glory shall rest on us all, on us all.

469 The Rainbow Song Father, make me a rainbow, to bridge old and new; Father, make me a gateway for many to come through. Father, You are the sunlight in a very dark land; Make me a prism held in your hand. Father, You are the music, make me a lyre; I am the kindling, Father, make me a fire. Our voices blend now, into one loving song; The dream grows true now, beautiful—strong.

482 The Rose Some say love it is a river that drowns the tender reed. Some say love it is a razor that leaves your heart to bleed. Some say love it is a hunger an endless aching need. I say love it is a flower and you it’s only seed. It’s the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance. It’s the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance. It’s the one who won’t be taken who cannot seem to give. And the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live. The Rose C G F G C C Am F G

490 See Through Children’s Eyes by Joshua Cotter & Mary Beth Ross
Life is pure, the world is new, The sun begins to rise; Love is here, and we are free To see through children’s eyes. So the truth shall make us free Why walk when we can fly? On the wings of God’s true love, Higher than the sky.

491 See Through Children’s Eyes
Fear and doubt shall pass away; His heart no longer cries; As we can perfect our love, And see through children’s eyes. So the truth shall make us free Why walk when we can fly? On the wings of God’s true love, Higher than the sky.

Here we learn to live for all, Choosing to be wise; Measure not the things you give, Just see through children’s eyes. So the truth shall make us free Why walk when we can fly? On the wings of God’s true love, Higher than the sky.

493 See Through Children’s Eyes
If you choose to live this way, Joy will fill your lives; We will give our best so all Can see through children’s eyes. So the truth shall make us free Why walk when we can fly? On the wings of God’s true love, Higher than the sky.

497 Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high, There’s a land that I heard of, once in a lullaby. Somewhere, over the rainbow, skies are blue, And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true. Bridge: One day I’ll wish upon a star and wake up where the clouds are far behind me. Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away upon the chimney tops, that’s where you’ll find me. Somewhere, over the rainbow, bluebirds fly. Birds fly over the rainbow, why then oh why can’t I? If happy little bluebirds fly above the rainbow, why oh why can’t I?

498 Special Place In Your Heart by Rick Joswick
Well, good morning Father, it’s a brand new dawn The eastern sky puts new colors on You touch me now I feel I belong In a special place in your heart Once my mornings never saw your face Even in nature I was out of place I was longing for your warm embrace

499 Special Place In Your Heart
Bridge: Now that I’ve found you and love has arrived I laugh with the spring breeze, I am finally alive Making a beeline back for the hive Finding my way back home. Now my life is filled with ecstasy The champagne of your love is so bubbly Like a bird on the wing soaring wild and free To a special place in your heart

500 Stand By Me When the night has come and the land is dark And the moon is the only light we’ll see. No, I won’t be afraid, no I won’t be afraid Just as long as you stand, stand by me. So darling, darling stand by me Oh stand by me, oh stand, Stand by me, stand by me

501 Stand By Me If the sky that we look upon should tumble and fall Or the mountain should crumble to the sea. I won’t cry, I won’t cry, no I won’t shed a tear Just as long as you stand, stand by me. So darling, darling stand by me Oh stand by me, oh stand, Stand by me, stand by me

502 Star Spangled Banner Oh say can you see, by the dawn’s early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, O’er the ramparts we watched, we so gallantly streaming? And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh say, does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

503 Star Spangled Banner On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep, Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes. What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam, In full glory reflected now shines on the stream; Tis the Star Spangled Banner, oh, long may it wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

504 Star Spangled Banner Oh, thus be it ever when free men shall stand, Between their loved homes and the war’s desolation Blessed with victory and peace, may the heaven rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto: “In God is our trust!” And the Star Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

524 This Is My Father’s World
This is my Father’s world, and to my listening ears All nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres. This is my Father’s world, I rest me in the thought Of rocks and trees of skies and seas His hand the wonders wrought. This is my Father’s world, the birds their carols rise, The morning light, the lily white, declare their Maker’s praise. This is my Father’s world, He shines in all that’s fair, In the rustling grass I hear Him pass, He speaks to me everywhere.

525 This Is My Father’s World

529 This Land is Your Land lyrics by Woody Guthrie
This land is your land, this land is my land, From California to the New York island, From the Redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters, This land was made for you and me. As I went walking down that ribbon of highway, I saw above me that endless skyway; I saw below me that golden valley,

530 This Land is Your Land This land is your land, this land is my land, From California to the New York island, From the Redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters, This land was made for you and me. I roamed and rambled, and followed my footsteps To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts While all round me a voice was saying:

531 This Land is Your Land This land is your land, this land is my land, From California to the New York island, From the Redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters, This land was made for you and me. As the sun was shining and I was strolling And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling As the fog was lifting a voice was chanting:

532 This Land is Your Land This land is your land, this land is my land, From California to the New York island, From the Redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters, This land was made for you and me.

544 ‘Tis a Gift to be Simple A Quaker Song
‘Tis a gift to be simple, ‘tis a gift to be free; ‘Tis a gift to come down where we ought to be. And when we find ourselves in the place just right, Twill be in the valley of love and delight. When true simplicity is gained, To bow and to bend we shan’t be ashamed; To turn, turn will be our delight, Till by turning, turning, we come ‘round right.

560 Try A Little Kindness Don’t walk around the down and out; Lend a helping hand instead of doubt. And the kindness that you show every day, Will help someone along their way. Chorus: You’ve got to try a little kindness, yes, show a little kindness Just shine your light for everyone to see. And if you try a little kindness, you’ll overlook the blindness Of the narrow minded people on their narrow minded street.

561 The Tyler Song In the bright morning light there is peace on earth There is time for birth and beginning. In the still of the night there is still the search For what came first before sinning. So keep your eyes on heaven, tune your ears to heaven Keep your mind on heaven and you’ll get to heaven. Don’t you know I love you and if you love me too We will be there soon.

562 The Tyler Song All through the day there’s a will there’s a way There’s a part in this play for your beauty. The lines are from above, the finale is love, And to do your part is your duty. So keep your eyes on heaven, tune your ears to heaven Keep your mind on heaven and you’ll get to heaven. Don’t you know I love you and if you love me too We will be there soon.

563 The Tyler Song There are words that we say to show the way Though we pray that their meaning can be greater. But the day soon will come when you’ll shine like the sun And we merge as one with our creator. So keep your eyes on heaven, tune your ears to heaven Keep your mind on heaven and you’ll get to heaven. Don’t you know I love you and if you love me too We will be there soon.

564 Very Last Day Chorus: Everybody’s gonna pray on the very last day, When they hear that bell ring the world away. Everybody’s gonna pray to the heavens on the Judgment Day. Well, you can sing about the great King David, And you can preach about the wisdom of Saul; But the judgment falls on all mankind when the trumpet sounds the call. All equal and the same, when the Lord, He calls your name. Get ready, brothers, for that day.

565 Very Last Day Chorus: Everybody’s gonna pray on the very last day, When they hear that bell ring the world away. Everybody’s gonna pray to the heavens on the Judgment Day. Well, one day soon all man shall stand; His word will be heeded in all the land. And men shall know and men shall see that we all are brothers and we all are free. Mankind was made of clay, each of us in the very same way. Get ready, brothers, for that day.

566 Very Last Day Chorus: Everybody’s gonna pray on the very last day, When they hear that bell ring the world away. Everybody’s gonna pray to the heavens on the Judgment Day. Well, the law is given and the law is known. The tale is told and the seed is sown. From dust we came and to dust we’ll go; You know the Lord, He once told us so. Each brother take his hand; Heed the meaning of the Lord’s command. Get ready, brothers, for that day.

567 Very Last Day Chorus: Everybody’s gonna pray on the very last day, When they hear that bell ring the world away. Everybody’s gonna pray to the heavens on the Judgment... Pray to the heavens on the Judgement … Pray to the heavens on the Judgment Day.

568 Waltzing Matilda Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong, Under the shade of a coolibah tree, And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled, “You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me!” Chorus: Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me.

569 Waltzing Matilda Down came a jumbuck to drink at the billabong, Up jumped the swagman and grabbed him with glee, And he sang as he stowed that jumbuck in his tucker bag, “You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me!” Chorus: Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me.

570 Waltzing Matilda Up rode the squatter mounted on is thoroughbred, Up rode the troopers, one, two, three. “Where’s that jolly jumbuck you’ve got in your tucker bag? You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me!” Chorus: Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me.

578 We Are The World by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie
There comes a time when we heed a certain call, When the world must come together as one. There are people dying and it’s time to lend a hand, To life the greatest gift of all. We can’t go on pretending day by day, That someone, somewhere will soon make a change. We are all a part of God’s great big family, And the truth, you know, love is all we need.

579 We Are The World Chorus: We are the world, we are the children. We are the ones to make a brighter day, so let’s start giving. There’s a choice we’re making, we’re saving our own lives; It’s true we make a better day just you and me. Send them your heart so they know that someone cares, And their lives will be stronger and free. As God has shown us by turning stones to bread, So we all must lend a helping hand.

580 We Are The World Chorus: We are the world, we are the children. We are the ones to make a brighter day, so let’s start giving. There’s a choice we’re making, we’re saving our own lives; It’s true we make a better day just you and me. Bridge: When you’re down and out and there seems no hope at all, But if you just believe there’s no way we can fall. Well, well, well, let us realize, that a change can only come, When we stand together as one.

581 We Are The World Chorus: We are the world, we are the children. We are the ones to make a brighter day, so let’s start giving. There’s a choice we’re making, we’re saving our own lives; It’s true we make a better day just you and me.

582 We Shall Overcome We shall overcome, we shall overcome, We shall overcome some day Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe That we shall overcome some day. We’ll walk hand in hand… We are not afraid… We shall live in peace… Truth shall make us free… We shall overcome…

583 When the Saints Go Marching In
Oh, when the Saints go marching in, Lord, I want to be in that number, When the Saints go marching in. Oh, when the sun begins to shine, When the sun begins to shine.

584 When the Saints Go Marching In
Oh, when the truth has been revealed, Lord, I want to be in that number, When the truth has been revealed. Oh, when they crown him King of Kings, When they crown him King of Kings.

585 When the Saints Go Marching In
Oh, when the Heavenly Kingdom comes, Lord, I want to be in that number, When the Heavenly Kingdom comes. Oh, when the Saints go marching in, When the Saints go marching in.

586 You Are My Sunshine as popularized by Jimmie Davis
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, You make me happy when skies are gray. You’ll never know, dear, how much I love you, Please don’t take my sunshine away. There is a meadow high on a mountain, Where skylark and wild rose abound. The eternal homeland my heart desires, Shines like gold at the rainbow’s end.

587 You Are My Sunshine You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, You make me happy when skies are gray. You’ll never know, dear, how much I love you, Please don’t take my sunshine away. Through the long cold winter the harsh winds blowing, All creatures die on barren soil. Now sunlight warming the ice to streamlets, Earth in spring is a garden of joy!

588 You Are My Sunshine You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, You make me happy when skies are gray. You’ll never know, dear, how much I love you, Please don’t take my sunshine away.
