The first time we see mention of the Church being in existence is in the book of Acts.
The KJV, NKJV and others say the Lord was adding the saved to the church – Acts 2:47.
This is the Day of Pentecost, the year AD33.
The city is Jerusalem.
This event was prophesied by many Old Testament prophets:
Daniel 2:44 – in the days of the Roman Empire
Isaiah 2:3 – in Jerusalem
It would be eternal

This purpose was carried out in Christ Jesus.
That purpose was the bringing in of the Churh and it’s savlation.

How do you become a member of the Church that Jesus Christ built?
Repent and be baptized in His name for the remission of your sins.
And the Lord will add you to HIS Church, not a man-made church.
