Welcome and thank you for participating in today’s session on Packing your digital go-bag. Essential disaster health information on your mobile device. Today we will discuss apps and mobile optimized web sites to have on your mobile phone or tablet before a disaster. Weathering the Storm 2015 Conference October 14, 2015

We will give an overview of NLM and DIMRC, describe the different types of apps, and highlight a number of specific apps and mobile web sites from our agency and other agencies and organizations. Elizabeth and I will stay on after the session ends at 2:30 if people have additional questions.

Understand the value of a digital go-bag Know where to locate the best disaster and public health preparedness and response apps If you are interested you can attend our other session to: Learn how to organize and use some of these apps By the end of this session, we would like you to understand the need for a digital go-bag in addition to your regular go-bag. You will also know how to find and select apps related to disaster preparedness and response and how to organize and use them.
