About Community Yenokavan community is in Tavush region. Distance is 144km from Yerevan and and 13km from Ijevan. There are all conditions for development of ecotourism: The community of 1,100 m above sea level, It is located in the temperate zone. The average temperature in summer is + 22C in winter `-2c: Community territory is 4,017.1 hectares, of which hectares of pastures and hectares of arable land. Yenokavan currently has 537 inhabitants. The population is mainly engaged in farming and cattle breeding. Community budget Incoming, 2016
About 30% of revenues derived from taxes and duties, in particular, property taxes on real and personal property. 63% of the revenues generated from grants, subsidies to the financial adjustment from the state budget : Being limited budget does not allow to make significant investments for solution of long- term problems and for realization of perspective projects. The major part of the expenses( about 87%) provided to management expenses, which includes payment for work, acquisition of products and services . Yenokavan gained touristic fame
The community tourism assets and infrastructure invested about 6 mln USD in As a result, in 2016 the community was visited by about 40,000 tourists, which of 60% are foreigners. Listener cave has a high recognition among youth and it is a stimulus for tourism development
Two storied cave is located in Khachaghbyur river valley, 3 km away from Yenokavan. Khachaghbyur leads to Lastiver: the cave, Anapat, fast flowing river, big and small waterfalls, forest and wonderful nature. In this place there are organizing bicycle tours, hiking on foot during which visitors are moving into the common forests along the banks of the Khachaghbyur river. 30,000 tourists visit to Lastiver annually.

Yenokavan Community Development Foundation
«Yenokavan Development Foundation>> Establishment of a tourist information center Yenoqavan Development Foundation was established in Its purpose is to promote village tourism development and raising living standards. The development of current and future projects of development and improvement, measures taken to implement them. The Board of Trustees consists of 25 members (local residents). "Yenoqavan Development Foundation" USAID "Partnership for the support of rural prosperity" program and funding in 2016 to begin work on the construction and equipment of tourist information center, which will be located directly in the village. The center's main aim is to provide visitors with comprehensive information on tourist services available in the community, as well as to enable the appropriate place to make reservations. In addition, the center will provide business development consulting services for community residents who wish to form a new company and engage in business. The center will provide its space tourism companies, training courses or personnel training.

Community development prospect
The aforementioned vision can be achieved in increasing the level of income through job creation and infrastructure improvement. Especially is important the prospects for young people to stay in the village. Given the achievements and great potential for development of tourism industry, tourism, sustainable development is seen as a key catalyst for community development and the driving force. Tourism will also promote the development of related industries and the replenishment of the budget, creating new sources of income formation and having a wide range of economic and social impact on the wider community. Our goal is to make Yenokavan community of values, where wants to live worthily every traditional family.

The community should have its own brand, which will present an adventure and eco-tourism center. In addition, the brand can be used in organic production of agricultural products and other goods of the labeling of community. Unified brand will substantially save on advertising costs and unite the efforts of all participants. It will promote the sale of goods produced in the community among the territory of republic.
