The Assurance Scholarship is a huge advantage for our HSSP winners, sometimes this sways a 3 yr Type 2 winner to attend ERAU.

Non-scholarship cadets: Day 1 of junior year
In-College Scholarship cadets: Once you activate your scholarship
“Freshman Option” (High School Scholarship Winners); may drop prior to Day 1 of sophomore year with no obligation/payback
Commitments after Commissioning
10 years = Pilot (after 1 year of training)
6 years = Remote Piloted Aircraft/Combat Systems Operator (Navigator) / Air Battle Manager (after 1 year of training)
4 years = all other jobs (this includes any training time)
We are still waiting to find out if the RPA commitment will be the same as a normal Pilot commitment.
