The preliminary SAT was administered on Oct 7th at Carroll College. The PSAT measures the knowledge and skills that research shows as most essential for college and career readiness.
The idea is that the PSAT and SAT are scored on a common scale and therefore if your student had taken the SAT instead of the PSAT on the same test date, they would have received the same score. When your student actually take a college entrance exam, such as the SAT or ACT, they will have additional learning from school and now practice to help improve or strengthen scores.
