4. NUS Libraries Science Library Central Library HSSM Library

The NUS Libraries comprises of 8 libraries, 6 of which are sited within the various faculties on the Kent Ridge Campus.
Just to highlight that the Central Library serves the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and School of Computing, while HSSM Library serves the NUS Business School. The Music Library serves the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. Also, the Chinese Library is actually located within Central Library and it serves the Department of Chinese Studies and Japanese Studies as well.
Medical Library mainly serves the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry and Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies. It is located in MD6, the library nearest to Science Library.
The 7th and 8th libraries, C J Koh Law library and EAI library, are located at the Bukit Timah Campus (or BTC for short) and serve the Law Faculty and NUS East Asian Institute.
Most books borrowed from one library may also be returned at another.
Even if the Library is closed, don’t worry! You may also make use of the book drops which are conveniently located at the Library entrances to return your books. We even have one located at University Town near the Educational Resource Centre (ERC).
During term time, we are open daily from 8am to 10pm, Mon to Fri and 10am – 5pm on Weekends.
However, closer to the examination period, when you need a place to study, we offer extended hours till 10pm on Sundays and on Public Holidays as well. The Central Library even operates a 24 hour Reading area.
