"Painting 4 Patriots" Fundraiser When: Tuesday, May 2nd Time: 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. Where: The Girl Cave 16897 Beach Blvd. HB Cost: $45 per person includes supplies to complete one painting "An Autumn Stroll"   Who: Members, Spouses and Friends *** $10 per person will be donated to benefit 4 Paws 4 Patriots Bring your own beverage (water, wine, soft drink) and an appetizer plate to share. Looking forward to a fun night with lots of laughs. Her is how to satisfy your Picasso urge and become an artist in one night! Sign up today or at our April 11th general meeting or contact Carolyn Herzog or Jill Ruiz (co-hosts) to sign up for this event.  At our April 11th meeting, our speaker will be from 4 Paws 4 Patriots - the selected charity for this fundraiser. 8 PHOTO PARTY All members who joined since August are requested to have their photo taken for the Yearbook/Directory. Every member is welcome to have a photo taken and select the best one for the Yearbook. When: Tuesday, June 13th (after June meeting) Where: Lynn’s New Studio! 17280 Newhope St (across from the Post Office) Time: From 2pm – 4pm

9 Board Recommendations
For FVWC to become a “Friend of the 60th“ with a $100 donation in support of the City’s 60th Anniversary Celebration. These funds will support the City wide Celebration including fireworks on Friday, June 23rd and the Community Parade on Saturday, June 24th (during Summerfest). For FVWC to purchase a $100 Amazon gift card to present to Orange District at Convention in support of their designated charity Canine Companions for Independence

10 Bylaws Committee Proposed Standing Rule Change: #9 After five (5) years of service and every five (5) years thereafter, a member shall receive appropriate recognition. A year of service shall be credited if a member joins between June 1st and December 31st is from June 1st – December 31st. Joining January 1st – May 31st is not considered a club year. #20 Fountain Valley Woman’s Club Yearbooks and/or directories are for the sole use of club members and may only be used for club-related activitis. They may not be given, sold or lent to any unaffiliated agency, business, or individual. Rationale: Clarifies proper use of Club Yearbooks and/or directories
